"We stayed at the resort for 3 nights. The food was delicious in all the restaurants. We enjoyed Thai cuisine, local cuisine, and international cuisine. The staff went out of their way to meet any and all of our requests. What we enjoyed the most is the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the resort and the proximity to the airport in Male. We took all inclusive meal plan which worked perfectly for us. The spa facilities are also excellent."

Great location if you want a relaxing break. As with most of the Maldives island resorts, it is a long way from anywhere so you are reliant upon the facilities available to entertain yourself. The resort has 62 rooms and caters mainly for couples. The pool area is a little short on available sun lounges for the guest numbers. Diving was well catered for and the island even had its own wreck & reef to dive on less than 50m from shore.

We had a wonderful, relaxing 8 night holiday at Oblu Select Lobigili adults only resort. We stayed in an over the water villa, which was really nice. Loved the semi-outdoor ensuite area, with rain-shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our island hostess, Sarah Tha was very helpful in providing us with daily information and in planning our daily activities for us whilst we were there. Could not have asked for a better experience for our honeymoon. From the moment of arrival we received nothing but the best service from the staff. The food was plentiful, varied and delicious. Plenty of activities to keep you busy or lots of opportunity to relax. Every activity was professionally caterered for and we experienced amazing diving and snorkelling so close to the resort. Could not fault any aspect of our stay.

Unfortunately my wife had a fall, broke her arm and required hospitalisation and surgery. The staff of the resort were fantastic, supportive and so caring. The resort is immaculate and has everything one could want from an island holiday in paradise. While the resort is of a high standard and maintained, the building safety standards are well below those in Australia. This is the best island holiday! The staff go out of their way to exceed expectations at every turn. We arrived wondering how we were going to keep busy for 8 days, and left feeling like we had not done it all. My husband is a surfer, and Momo was there for him, reading the surf reports, taking him out to breaks at the right time. Would recommend paying the extra for a beachfront deluxe bungalow. The snorkelling was amazing with the coral and marine life a few metres from our bungalow door....

Overall, we loved our stay here. A couple of things to note if you’re considering booking: - the primary nationals who stay here are Russians. - there is quite a bit of loud construction going on during the low season.. we had to move rooms twice to get away from the noise. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re enjoying your stay. Huge shout out to everyone who works there. Food was really good, especially the buffet at Lagoon restaurant.
