Great place to stay!

We stayed here for a full week, this is such an amazing property with direct river access! We were a large group and had plenty of space to spread out. I spoke with Ian the owner of the property on our way up with great tips for our stay, you can tell he truly hopes you enjoy his property and wants you to have a great time! I highly recommend staying and will definitely choose this property again!

Amazing Waterfront Location

Kids enjoyed the volleyball and basketball courts! Also the indoor and outdoor fire places were amazing! The Rec Center is a fun addition!

Beautiful Family Getaway

The cabin was just as the pictures depicted! Enough room for our big family! The kitchen was stocked with everything, you just need to bring the food! We loved the fire pit, everyone enjoyed eating s’mores and listening to the River. We even got to see deer playing in the river!

Great place

This was our group's (old high school friends) third annual trip to Riverstone Lodge and it was outstanding as always. The outdoor setting along the river truly cannot be topped. The house was well-supplied and clean as always. We shall return!

Wonderful weekend!

Once again we spent a wonderful weekend at Rocky River. It's the perfect place for a group gathering. There's ample space for all to spread out, and also enjoy meal times together. This year the weather wasn't so great but we didn't mind hanging around the well appointed cabin. Sarah and Ian are the perfect hosts and will do everything they can to help with anything that might come up. We keep on coming back every year because it's a perfect fit for our group. I highly recommend Riverstone (and for an even larger group Rocky River and Riverstone) for your next family gathering.

Amazing amazing amazing

This was the most amazing place. We brought our high school summer baseball team and they still have not stopped talking about this place and how much fun they had. So much to do and entertain. Being in the river was so incredible. We just sat out by the river and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It’s so big we never felt on top of each other either. Thank you very much!!!

Pictures Don't Do Home Justice

We were 9 guys on a guys trip and wow what a fantastic cabin nestled in the bottom of a beautiful mountain resting on the Coosawattee River. The home was clean and perfect, plenty of room to spread out with a lot of beds. The pictures truly don't do the home justice as It looks so much better in person. Just a short trip to town for good dining, shopping and many activities. We did paint ball in Blue Ridge at Blue Ridge Paint Ball which was very fun. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cookware, clean bed sheets, nice clean towels, etc. Cell service is not that great here however the WIFI worked well with all 9 of our phones plus the TVs and other WIFI capable technology on property. We hope to be back one day!

Absolutely Perfect Vacation!

Could not have ask for a nicer cabin to spend 5 days with family! So many things for the young 20 somethings to do. They loved the well lite basketball court and played until midnight! the horse shoe pit, pool table, firepit, volleyball and kayaks on the property were perfect! The fact that the kids could tube down river and jump out right in the backyard was great! There are actually 2 options for tubing, one is about a 45 minute float and the other is about 3 hours to the house. My favorite was the nice big clean hot tub and the amazing big swing on the covered deck! The beds were all so comfy! Better than home! The house was nice and clean, the appliances all looked new and the kitchen was well stocked. This place is very roomy and can comfortably fit many people. The owner was wonderful. We had a problem with the grill and he was there within an hour and repaired it. I can not say enough good about Riverstone and our stay there. There is not one single negative thing I could say about this place. We are frequent visitors of Coosawatee River resort and have stayed in quite a few cabins on the property. Hands down, this one is our favorite! We will be back!!

Sticker shock

house was clean, it is smaller than what pictures show, grill would not work, so we tried to call the numbers listed, and no one answered either of the numbers to call, had it been a real problem not sure what we would have done. my main dislike was the signs posted all over the house (inside and out) made it feel like a youth detention center, not a relaxing mountain get away. The most appalling signs were the ones on every toilet lid in the house. I mean, you have to be an adult to rent the property, please have a little respect for your guest. I rented the house for our trip, and i was embarrassed by the stickers. also take Tp with you, when they say limited, them mean what is left when others leave, we barley had enough for the first day and only had 10 people. drive from gate to house was long, so no quick trips to town. one nest chair on top deck needs replaced, and some other stuff was very worn out, also wound be nice to have some bowls with lids in the kitchen and some knives that are sharp. but the river and the hot tub and game room were very nice. all in all we had a nice time at the house.

We enjoyed our stay. There were many activities available to keep the entire family entertained. We really appreciated the tubes and kayaks that were provided. Ian and Sara were great hosts. And fortunately we did not kiss the bear Ian. However we probably could have hand fed all of the deer!

Best stay ever

This property was beyond beautiful. It had 3 floors that accommodated my family of 16. We had the pleasure of going tubing, create a bonfire and enjoyed the sounds of the river and geese. We plan on returning in the near future.

Great cabin with amazing views and close to town!

We had an amazing stay! We had a big group and we were fully accommodated the entire time. The access to the river was amazing. We had a great time utilizing the entirety of the property. The place was clean when we showed up. The owners communicated everything clearly the entrie time and were super nice. The town was not far away either with it being 20 minutes away roughly. Definitely recommend this cabin for a good time disconnecting with a small or big group.

The owners are amazing

The owners /hosts are so friendly and open to working with us. The place is perfect for a group. Tons to do even in the winter. This is our second time back and we will definitely come again.

Perfect getaway for our family

Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Riverstone cabin over the Holidays! Excellent wifi, which kept everyone connected, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, including games, a pool table, table tennis, and a foosball table. The spacious living area, cozy fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds made it easy for us to relax and have fun. Even though it was too cold to enjoy tubing on the river, we had a great time around the outdoor firepit, playing horseshoes, and even shooting some hoops on the basketball court! We also took the opportunity to visit a few stores and enjoy a nice dinner in downtown Ellijay. Sarah and Ian are fantastic hosts. Their efforts in decorating the cabin for the holidays made our trip even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and we look forward to returning again!

Amazed at what a wonderful place. And what a wonderful view It had so many things to do that. The boys were always busy doing something hanging out by the fire playing basketball or ping pong or huddled up inside watching some playoff football.It was just a great trip all around. They had an amazing time. I enjoyed cooking for them and just watching my son. Enjoy time with his friends. Knowing he's about to get married and take a new step in his life. Great Location and Excellent Option for a Large Group

We booked this cabin for our annual retreat, and it couldn’t have been more accommodating! We chose it mainly for its location and excellent reviews, and it truly was perfect for our group of 11. The hosts, Sarah and Ian, were wonderful - providing clear check-in and check-out instructions and detailed directions before arrival. Although we didn’t run into any issues, they were just a phone call away, ready to help if needed. The cabin sits right on the river within a safe, beautiful gated community. We saw a tons of wildlife on the drive in and drive out. It was convenient to have grocery stores and a variety of restaurants (both local and chain) within a short 5-7 mile drive. The cabin had everything we needed, from cookware to linens and towels. For entertainment, there was a pool table, ping pong, board games, horseshoes, and even a basketball court! We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and ample outdoor seating. The sound of the river was incredibly relaxing. Though cell service was limited, the wifi was excellent. With all of us using phones, tablets, and/or laptops, we could still stream events on the TV - with zero interruptions or problems. This retreat gave our group a much-needed break from daily life, allowing us to reconnect and enjoy each other's company. Huge thanks to Sarah and Ian for sharing their beautiful cabin. We highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning!
