Perfect Weekend Cabin Getaway

Great location, very spacious, comfortable, nice beds and WOW at the fishing!!!! Football fields of private river access and we caught 12! Perfect weekend and loved how it was 5 minutes to downtown blue ridge!

Probably the best cabin I’ve stayed at. Location, views, jacuzzi, pool table, cleanliness, cooking supplies, decor, the River, fire pit, absolutely everything was great! I will def be staying there again.

very relaxing

This house is very quiet and peaceful. We brought our kayaks and went to the river every day and had a campfire every night. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean and lots to do

My family and I had a short stay. The cabin has 3 levels and plenty of room to spread out. The pool table was great and we enjoyed the short hike to the river. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely come back.

Amazing property and we'll be back!

We had a wonderful time at this property. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and relaxed. Having the river access was so much fun, everything at the house was super comfortable, and the hosts' hospitality was above and beyond. We plan to return soon! Thanks for an awesome time.

Home away from home

40th Birthday Stay

Terry and Deb were great to work with. They let us check out late and borrow some of the fishing rods they had at the house. The house was amazing and the setting couldn't have been better. Even caught a few fish while we were there!

The Good Life!

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The home is flush with amenities that made for a nice, relaxing, and fun family weekend. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful and our family was able to take in many of the outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and the fire pit. The hot tub was great to relax in at the end of the day. We loved our stay and intend to be back!

Always a Great Place to Stay

My wife and I have stayed at Terry and Deb's place numerous times and have never been disappointed. Since we have dogs, we were pleased to see the addition of a gate on the updated porch (looks great by the way), so visitors with dogs and children will feel good when they are outside. We always look to rent here first, but because of all the amenities it gets booked quickly. Great trip again, thanks for letting us use your place!

Perfection

The property is exactly as outlined in the listing. It is beautifully decorated and has everything that you need. We enjoyed the home, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the trail down to the pond and river. It’s so close to town and amenities but still private. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain vacation

Amazing Trip

This cabin was everything we expected and more! There was so much to do at the cabin, as well as at the pond and the river that we plan to come back. We visited town, spent lots of time in the river and spent most evenings playing games as a family. My only regret is that I wish we had more time!!

Relaxing, private cabin

Thank you so much for opening your house to us. It was the perfect base for us to hike, hike, hike and rest from. The stillness also helped our dogs settle at the end of each day without being stressed from unusual car noises or doors slamming all night like they would have experienced in a hotel. They loved walking down and along the river trail. We also enjoyed the swinging bridge and they got to summit Springer Mountain. We had everything we needed at your home to enjoy an adventurous weekend away.

Very Clean Cabin!

Really enjoyed our stay! The owners were very easy to communicate with and even offered early checkin. This cabin was the cleanest we have rented in Blue Ridge, which was much appreciated! Had all the extra essentials you needed, including laundry detergent which was nice to come home with clean clothes packed. We really enjoyed the property, the walk to the river was more strenuous than expected but a pretty walk with a small waterfall nearby and a lot of area to fish. Would only suggest to future renters to bring some extra blankets as the comforters on the beds are pretty thin and it was a lot colder than we expected for May. Thanks again!

Everything you need is here

Our family of four had a great time here. The cabin is well stocked and everything worked as advertised. It is about 0.3 miles down to the river and about 0.2 down to the pond, but having option to fish in both river and pond is quite unique. I caught small bass and blue gil in pond, and rainbow trout in the river. Pay attention to dam release schedule as that greatly affects river fishing/access. We also floated/tubed about 2-3 miles but had to pull out early as the flow rate was about 1 mile per hour; timed right you could make the downstream takeout in about 4 hours. The cabin feels remote but is only Five minutes away from town. We loved our visit.

Awesome cabin & property

Family and friend plus our dogs had a wonderful time! The game room was a blast and the cabin had everything we needed and then some! Every other cabin we’ve stayed at in several years had horrible pots and pans so I took my own this time, didn’t need them!! Everything was in great shape. Took the river down to the old bridge from the property and had so much fun. Lots of mud down at the bottom of the road, have a 4 wheel drive or just walk. River runs faster than the creeks we are used to, so plan a little more speed than slo mo. We attached rafts to the back of our kayaks and it was awesome! Thanks to terry for blowing up our rafts and being a great communicator during the whole process, before, during and after.

Wonderful cabin on amazing property

We had a blast in this Blue Ridge cabin! My family of 4 plus our fur baby stayed for a week. The cabin itself was very cozy with authentic cabin decor. They allow pets which is great but I also was worried it may smell like a pet... but not the case at all! Super clean and comfy beds. No pet smell whatsoever. My kids enjoyed the arcade game and we all enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The property this cabin is on is what makes this listing better than the rest... you have acres to play on with a wooded trail that leads to a pond complete with dock for fishing and further down the trail is access to the Toccoa river for more fishing or just to sit at the picnic tables for lunch. There is even a second fire pit off the river. We used the main fire-pit near the house for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. Kids LOVED it. The cabin is also located near downtown Blue Ridge if you want shopping or restaurants. We did all our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. We are already figuring out our next date to come back!!! Thank you!

Countless options to enjoy

My wife and I spent 5 days at this cabin as this year's choice for our annual pre-Thanksgiving getaway, and we were very happy with our choice. There are countless ways to spend your time without even leaving the property. Fishing? Try the river or the pond. Bad weather? Play some pool or enjoy the video games (we loved this option since we were kids when all those games came out). Looking for a relaxing evening? Try the hot tub or enjoy the fireplace. My wife said multiple times that this was the most well-stocked place we have rented, and that is quite a compliment coming from her. As others have noted, it is a bit of a walk to get to the river or down to the pond, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. We drove down to the river once, but after the tires on my mid-size FWD SUV slipped on the two steepest spots, we opted to walk it the other times. The only negative we both noticed was that the couch wasn't comfortable and the love seat wasn't a lot better. But that was just a minor issue when compared to all the positives at this cabin. We would definitely stay here again when we visit the area.

Nice stay

We had relaxing time at the cabin. The location and amenities were great! The only problem was it needs to be cleaned a little better. The cob webs hanging off the blinds and in the corners of the main floor bedroom were strange. It would be hard to miss when cleaning. Also we were finding 4 or 5 dead wasps in the kitchen every morning so be careful barefoot.
