  • Cozy Bear Hideaway is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin that sleeps up to 7 people. We are conveniently located with paved road access in the Sun Rock Mountain community and just minutes from Mercier Orchards and downtown Blue Ridge! This cabin offers a spacious open deck with rocking chair front porch overlooking the custom fire pit with rock seating, as well as long-range mountain views from the back porch. Bring your s'mores and create lasting memories!

    - If damage is done by a pet or extra cleaning required from hair/fur, your damage deposit will be retained.

Cabin was prefect for the kids and our little fury friend, downstairs game room with hot tub was an evening hit once we returned back to the cabin! A great stay in Blue Ridge. This cabin was very clean and the perfect size for the four of us. Its close to downtown shopping, hiking, and Mercier Orchard (best fried pies I ever had).

We had a lovely time at the cabin! The cabin was really cozy and had everything that we needed. We used the fire pit twice and so enjoyed it! The view was spectacular! Communication with our host was outstanding. The only downside was that we got lost twice trying to get back to the cabin at night. Our gps cut out on us and we didn’t realize it. Nevertheless, we would come back here again and again!

Blue Ridge Getaway

We had a perfect stay! The cabin was beautiful and we loved the Christmas tree and decorations. We enjoyed the views and played pool and fooseball. The location was great, a short distance from Blue Ridge and close to Mercier Orchard. The owner was very responsive to any questions before, during, and after our stay. A total package for a mountain getaway

Cozy Bear Hideaway was exactly that as well as perfectly stocked for a perfect adult and child vacation. Winding narrow roads and a steep staircase to the game room make it less ideal for seniors but otherwise no detail was forgotten. Stay there if your plans are near Blue Risge

Georgia Mountain Gem

Great location being off the beaten path but still close enough to all of the fun things to do in the area. Cabin has just about everything you can need and was perfect for our small family. Host was super responsive when we reached out to him. We really enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Highly recommended if you're looking to stay in the area and lucky enough for it to be available.

Cozy couple nights away

Our family of 4 (2 parents, 2 older teens) plus our dog enjoyed our couple nights stay in the cabin. Robert was a great communicator. The cabin itself is very much as pictured - it's not fancy and the rooms are small, but it was cozy and very clean and everything worked well. Also love the ease of access - paved road and driveway, close to town. Would certainly recommend.

This property was very peaceful and comfy. The gps took us in the backway and thankful we had 4x4 or wouldnt of made it. Once there the correct way to town was much better. Blue Ridge Relaxation

My family (dog included) had quite a relaxing time at the cabin over the Christmas holidays. Although we were hoping we might get some snow, our hope was granted in the form of really wet snow (rain). Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time. The cabin was immaculate, complete with Christmas decor, and we took advantage of the lock-in time by playing games downstairs, building a fire at the fire pit and also using the hot tub. We couldn't have hoped for a better, more memorable, family experience at the perfect vacation destination. Simply perfect all-around.

Relaxing place

The house was nice and cozy. It was a little smaller than I expected from the pictures. I stayed with one child and another couple and their two children. The downstairs game room was huge, but the upstairs was definitely cozy for three adults. The hot tub would not warm up past 99 degrees so that was a little disappointment. A lot of the outside was covered in pollen, but there has been a lot of that lately, so I understand. The kids loved the swing outside. It was a lot of fun. Thank you for the cozy home in a beautiful setting.
