Discover what it is like to live as a local in this beautiful 1,427 square foot home, located just off of Main Street in the Village of Blowing Rock, N.C. True to it's name, The Artist's Loft is located above the shop of local Silversmith and Artisan, Gaines Kiker. This lovely contemporary home features an ensuite master as well as ensuite guest room. The spacious, open concept features many windows that allow for an abundance of natural light. Open the french doors to the sun porch and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. This specialty kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, a gas range, soapstone countertops, and is fully stocked with cooking essentials to create gourmet meals. Our guest have 2 private parking spaces at the entrance to the home.
Located on a quiet street, this home offers exceptional charm and is in an unbeatable location allowing you to conveniently walk to Blowing Rock's restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. Enjoy the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum, numerous hiking trails and picnics of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We look forward to working with you!

As avid travelers, the ArtistLoft in Blowing Rock exceeds all other stays that have ever done. The cleanliness; accommodations and location could not be topped. They have thought of everything to make your stay memorable. I also appreciate that they do not skimp on the quality of the bedding, linens and furnishings.

Perfect Blowing Rock Loft - this has been our go to rental for several years when visiting the area; as the location, loft design/appointments, and privacy would be hard to beat. Interactions with owners have also always been very friendly with timely responses to any questions/needs. Definitely recommend!

We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed every visit. Super location for taking in Blowing Rock and always such a comfortable place to stay!We had a mechanical issue on this trip. We told the owners about it and they began addressing is within the hour. Super responsive!

The location is right off of Main St. We loved walking to restaurants, the concerts in the park and shopping! The hosts are absolutely fantastic. We had everything we needed in this well stocked apartment. Highly recommend for your next trip to Blowing Rock.

Mountain treasure

We have stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years and every time is wonderful. This property is beautiful, comfortable and private...no town noise. It is in the best location possible, just steps from Main Street. The owners are delightful and accommodating. It is always our first choice in short term rentals in Blowing Rock.

Best Location in Blowing Rock!

Third time staying at this location, and it never disappoints. Well designed and beautifully appointed, the home is steps away from everything Blowing Rock has to offer. You can’t beat the location, as we always enjoy being within walking distance of many restaurants and shops as well as some local hikes. We will absolutely book this home again, now planning our trips to Blowing Rock specifically around its availability.

The artist's loft was perfect for our stay. We could easily walk to everything in the village - it was quiet, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. Private parking and quiet at night. I am DEFINITELY coming back here.

The home is immaculate and modern with every amenity you can ever think of provided. Feels like home. Susan and Gaines are superb hosts and open to advice of great dining locations and personal favorites of their own. So close to everything around town, ghost and spacious. We’ll be back for sure.

Lovely loft :)

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly, and the loft was super clean and roomy. We had zero problems, easily walked everywhere, so nice. This was a splurge for us! But the prime location with private parking, lovely and clean interior, and cozy beds and couches were worth every penny. It seems right in the center of busy downtown but was still very quiet at night. Very happy we were able to stay there!
