Great Stay / Perfect Location

Very nice and well maintained home with incredible mountain views and perfectly situated between Blowing Rock and Boone, just a few minutes from each, and right near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful house and fun weekend away!

Lovely house with all the amenities you need. Great location as well- close to both Boone and blowing rock. We had a very snow filled weekend and enjoyed the beautiful views from the house, the hot tub, fire pit, and sledding nearby! Hope to return in the spring/summer!

This cabin was wonderful for our family.

We are already looking forward to reserving berry blesses cabin for our next ski weekend in 2018. Close proximity to app ski mountain works nicely to come and go with young children. The owners were helpful as we planned our trip and timely with their responses. Great memories from our 2017 ski trip

Wonderful family weeekend

Beautiful and spacious. Pool Table was fun. Kitchen was very well stocked!! Hot tub was awesome. Rooms comfy. Wonderful place to relax

Best Cabin Ever!

We were quite a big group with kids and we enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was great equipped and the cabin itself is awesome. It is cozy but still very airy and open spaced. And very original with the original wood block design! We loved it and are looking forward to visiting again.

Great winter escape

10 adults stayed here for a weekend getaway. The house was warm and spacious. It’s close town so you don’t have to drive far to get to anything including the ski slopes. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an amazing mountain spot

Beautiful Property

This is our third year staying in Blowing Rock with friends and hands down this was the best place we have rented. The property is exactly as described and has numerous amenities to be enjoyed by all ages. Also, the care of detail in the decor, the kitchen is stocked with a ton of pots,pans,dishes, etc... and even had spices available is wonderful when you are traveling with a large group. Also, the view on the back porch overlooking the mountains was a favorite!

Wonderful house and location

This is the second time we have stayed at Berry Blessed Cabin, and it continues to stand out above any rental in the Blowing Rock area. The location is perfect, allowing us to go into Boone quickly, or shopping in Blowing Rock. The house is super clean, comfortable, welcoming, and stocked with anything you would need. Also, the beds are so comfortable! The hot tub is fantastic and situated just right to watch the sunset over the mountains. I highly recommend this house and the owner is great to work with.

Beautiful Area and Home - Needs TLC

We enjoyed our time in the area but this home needs a lot of TLC. I communicated specifics with the host and hope by the time someone else stays here things are taken care of.

Dad's 80th Birthday

Our family stayed at Berry Blessed to celebrate Dad's 80th birthday. The house is perfect for all age group. Everyone enjoyed gem mining, hiking to the water falls, playing pool, sitting in the jacuzzi, and playing air hockey. The house is well equipped and had something for feveryone. We highly recommend!

Great visit to Blowing Rock

We enjoyed our stay at Berry Blessed. The house is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with all of the necessities and then some. The beds were comfortable and the deck(s), hot tub and fire pit were all great! Just a couple of recommendations: All of the board games need to be "refreshed". All of the games that we pulled out had too many missing parts to play. Also, there were several people sharing the basement bathroom. It could use a second vanity and perhaps a shelf over the toilet for toiletry items, etc. Overall - great house and a great trip!

Beautiful property - very well maintained!

We had a wonderful time staying here for my son's wedding in Blowing Rock! I would highly recommend. The welcoming and peaceful feel of the home made it a winner from the moment we opened the door. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was supplied with enough glasses, plates, etc...for a crowd the size of our 12. Would have given a 5 star, but couldn't find an iron to iron last minute wedding clothes, the lights for the outside driveway were out, and there were some dips and pot holes in the gravel at the top of the fairly steep driveway which made going up the driveway a little rough. All easy fixes!! Would stay here again!

Relaxing Vacation

We go to Blowing Rock every summer and it was our first visit to Sunset Cabin. The house was fun for our five young children and six adults and easily slept all of us. It's a very private location and had a pretty view from the front windows. The family room was inviting with the full story windows. It truly felt that we were in the trees. The yard in the back of the house has a large level area and the children had a blast playing there in the cowboy costumes they got a Tweetsie. The adults enjoyed their beverages sitting at the outside tables while watching the action. One of the favorite things about the house was the fire pit up the hill in the back of the property. We lit a fire each evening which was a huge adventure for the children! Thank you for the logs stacked by the pit. That was a treat! The children scoured the woods and had a great time bringing us twigs for kindling. The house is about 10 minutes from Boone and Blowing Rock and even closer to Tweetsie. The weather was cool and we were able to keep all of the windows open and enjoy the fresh mountain air. We were glad to see the the windows were very easy to open and close. It rained our last two days there, which unfortunately were the days we planned to use the kayaks. Next year we will plan better! The only thing lacking were enough plates to serve our family of eleven so plan to bring paper plates. Other than that, this cabin was the perfect mountain vacation spot for our family.

Great Experience

The house fit everyone easily and the location was perfect. Right between blowing rock and boone. It was less than 5 minutes to app mtn for snowboarding, and close enough that we could go into blowing rock for dinner or just to grab a coffee or ice cream. Few items of note, the lowest level is a bit cold as the thermostat is on the main floor, but sleeping down there was still comfortable under the covers of the bed. Also, the lowest level takes up the garage space, so there is no garage parking for cars, in case there is snow in the winter, something to consider. The shower downstairs is also very small, but the water pressure is solid. Aside from those few things listed above, the house was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome house!

This house was everything as advertised and more! We loved the large deck and the awesome views as well as the hot tub! The sectional sofa in the living room was large enough for our whole family (7 of us) to watch football and movies on TV! We loved all the choices of grills for cooking out as well as the fire pit! Our boys enjoyed the game room downstairs during their fantasy football draft. The owner was very responsive and accommodating, and we will definitely be back!

Great Memorial Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. Our grandson could not get the Wii system games to work and there was no puck for the air hockey. Our grandson was disappointed. These are all relatively minor as the house was excellent.

Great for Multiple Families

We had a great visit! We had three families and the living on all three floors was perfect. The kids loved the game room and hot tub. The views were amazing! We would definitely go again!
