Welcome to Sky Valley Cabin!
This 4 bed/3 bath cabin is nestled in the valley of a 140 acre site at Sky Valley Zip Tours, yet still only 3 miles to Boone & 4.5 miles to Blowing Rock, NC.

This inviting & quiet cabin has all the comforts you'd expect when making a trip to the mountains - fire pit, grill, patio and a cozy feel – all beside a creek running by out front so you can enjoy the sound of running water as you come and go for your High Country adventures.

The space
This cabin sits on 140 acres at Camp Sky Ranch and adjacent to Sky Valley Zip Tours!

Although the cabin offers a lot of privacy, you will most likely see other visitors and staff of the Sky Valley Zip Tours activities between 9am and 5pm depending on the time of year.

You will most likely see the owners' dog roams freely and there are kittens, chickens and a cow on property. For this reason, pets are not allowed during your stay.

Close to hiking, skiing, snow tubing, wineries, breweries and more! 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway access, 3 miles to Boone and 4.5 miles to Blowing Rock. Near App Sky Mtn and Moses Cone Park.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cabin as well as the porch and fire pit outside. Fire wood is not provided.

The owners live next door and this cabin is on site at Sky Valley Zip Tours!

The owners' dog roams freely and there are kittens, chickens and a cow. They are very friendly but for this reason, pets are not allowed here. If pets are brought with you, your reservation will have to be cancelled. Thank you for understanding!

The driveway is all gravel and there are no steep areas but please drive slowly. 4WD is NOT necessary in the spring and summer but required from December - April. While there will be snow removal, we cannot guarantee it will happen during your visit. We are not responsible for your ability to get in or out if there is snow on the ground. (P.S. If your vehicle does not say 4x4, 4WD or AWD on the back, you do not have it 😉)
No Pets - ‼️NO PETS ARE ALLOWED‼️ at Sky Valley. If you have a service animal, we respectfully ask that you choose another place to book. We will allow cancellations for a full refund within 2 hours of booking for this reason. The owners have a dog with high anxiety and since they live next door, they try to keep other pets away. Thank you for understanding! If pets are brought with you, your reservation will have to be cancelled. Thank you for understanding!

No smoking in the home or on the property

As this is the mountains and we often experience storms and high winds, we sometimes experience outages of various kinds. They are almost always turned back on quickly and we won't be able to give refunds for outages except for on a case by case basis. *If you know you need internet, please consider bringing your own hotspot to avoid missing important meetings

• If any important items are left behind after your stay, we are happy to mail them back to you! There is a fee of $30 + shipping to cover the cost of the extra time it takes to mail items back
