Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Would not recommend unless your only option is sleeping in your vehicle. We booked a room on March 1 for a college visit. Sent an email to the manager next day and never got a response. Not a single “Sorry that we disappointed…”. Nothing. We will not stay at a Hampton Inn again. Not the brand it used to be. Here’s the message:
We want to share some information with you about our stay at your hotel (Hampton Inn Bloomington)
When we got to the room the keys didn’t work. I went back to the desk & was given 2 new keys, which also didn’t work. The man at the desk then went up with us & brought a device to charge the digital key reader.
Then we pulled open the sofa bed for our daughter & found mouse feces in the sheets (the sofa bed was pre-made).
We went back downstairs. I wanted to refund our stay & find another hotel but we were told a refund wasn't possible b/c we booked through Expedia. understood. We were given keys for room 302.
We pulled that sofa bed open, which revealed toys, water bottle & food wrappers underneath & still likely there. There were no sheets for sofa bed so we went back down to the desk yet again for sheets. We were given two fitted sheets. neighbors had a loud party until around 11 PM & at 12:45 AM the fire alarm went off…. Why??
Never got an apology. We chose Hampton because of the brand & thought that would ensure clean rooms & good customer services for a reasonable price. No longer the case. Don’t waste your money.
