"This family-run hotel has everything for a perfect stay. Our family suite was new, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable (even the pullout couch had a mattress overlay). The well-equipped kitchen made meal prep easy. Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and lake path, and only 15 minutes on foot to the main town—a beautiful stroll along the water. A grocery store and restaurants, including historic Vila Bled, are close by. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with made-to-order omelettes. Included free parking was a great bonus as parking in Bled can be very difficult to find. We can’t wait to return!"

"We had a lovely stay at the Rikli Balance Hotel. It’s worth (if you can) opting for a Lake view - as it is spectacular. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was amazingly well organised and reasonable @ 10 Euros per day. Pool/Spa area is big and wasn’t too busy when we went."

"From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Toplice in Lake Bled, we were completely enchanted. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the sitting room lobby — and let me tell you, sipping that drink while taking in the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen felt like a dream. The service here is in a league of its own — truly the highest caliber I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, warm, and effortless. Our room was absolutely perfect, and I have to give special mention to the water pressure (a small but very important detail for me!) — it was spot on. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from charming shops, delicious restaurants, and local events. But the crown jewel of our stay? The hotel’s private beach. With bar service, attentive personal butlers, and the best possible access to swim in Lake Bled, it was pure bliss. I have never recommended a hotel more highly in my life. Out of all of our global travels and experiences with Small Luxury Hotels, this one stands at the very top of my list. We will absolutely be returning — the Grand Hotel Toplice has officially become my favorite stay in the world."

"The hotel is right in the middle of town easy walking distance to public transit, hikes, stores, restaurants and bars. The folks at the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The room itself was perfectly comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a stay."

"Excellent short stay at Vila Ula La, as part of a wider tour of Slovenia, travelling as a family of four (two teenage kids). Our ground floor apartment was ideal for our needs - well located, both for walks into and around Bled and lake and for touring the surrounding area, very comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of parking space. The critically important WiFi was strong and consistent. Food options include an excellent and very inexpensive bakery (open from 6am) under 100m away and plenty of restaurants within a short to medium walk. Would particularly recommend the Old Bled Wine Cellar for dinner (reservation essential). "

"Host was amazing at welcoming us, despite being late (Thankyou!) breakfast was fresh daily, and really enough to make even the fussiest of eaters have an option. Great that this is included. Location is lush! Parking available- and a great scenic walk to bled and the Straza outdoor area! We loved our visit. Thankyou so much! "
