"This was an ideal location for us to attend a family gathering in nearby Wimborne. A very busy main road but as the property was located away from this we had no road noise. Very close (walking distance) to a good range of local shops. Probably use again."

"My sister and I loved the house: comfy beds and furniture, well appointed kitchen (although we mostly ate out), tasteful decor. We loved the close proximity to the shops, amenities and beach, since we both have limited mobility. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and can imagine it would suit a family really well. (Rather steep staircases though!) Highly recommended."

"I have spent 20 years visiting the New Forrest for holidays and I wish I had found this place before, it is a gem. The owner Chris was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. "Property was perfect for our gathering. Decor was fantastic and full of personality. Personalised reception was appreciated. Endless rooms with different combinations of bed to suit everyone. Kitchen table comfortably fitted 12 for dinner. Bathrooms a little basic. Working fireplace was a lovely touch. We had a fantastic celebration and this property was a big part of that."

"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. Walking...
