"Lovely cottage , weather not too good but lots to do in the area ."

"The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. The cottage was well equipped and spacious with modern amenities including a lovely coffee machine and range cooker. Unfortunately there were somethings that we felt could be improved on. "What a stunning cottage in the most beautiful area! And I cannot recommend Adrian and his daughter as hosts enough. The cottage was perfect for our family celebrations, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean with fans provided for the warmer nights too, bonus! Also noted heaps of extra blankets for colder months too, nice touch. And the views were beautiful! We were lucky to have full use of all the areas as we were the only guests, we chose the allocated farmhouse BBQ area...

"Cottage is in a lovely quiet street and good acces to many beaches. We did have some issues with cleanliness in the cottage but this was resolved. Overall we had a lovely stay"

"We really loved staying at this house. It’s in the perfect location, stepping out straight into the woods. We spotted 4 deer at sunset on one day, and came across many of the wild horses that roam around in the area. Several great walks in nearby woods too. We recommend visiting the Raptor Centre nearby too. The house was perfect for us. Everything you could need. It was clean & tidy. We really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco & a lovely chocolate cake! Anne greeted us and came to say goodbye...

"The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated. Thoughts where the cottage could benefit: adding a mirror in the bedrooms...

"Sea View cottage is a really nice place, its in an excellent location for Chisel beach, local shops and the rest of Portland, which was one of our main considerations, In fact we even walked to Weymouth. There is an outside sitting area but due to the windy weather we decided not to use it. We visited in early November and made good use of the wood burning stove in the evenings for that really cosy feeling. The host made everything so easy and were very accommodation.
