Amazing, private, dog friendly getaway

The property was large and beautiful. The house itself was beautiful, had large fireplace, comfortable seating, great kitchen for cooking. Super relaxing vibe. Definitely will stay there again.

What a fantastic spot to relax at ! The wildlife was awesome , the setting incredible . The treehouse was a great hidden gem . Wished the river was a little higher for fishing , but all in all , just fantastic stay !

Loved the vibe.

Had a great time walking the property, checking out the tree house and river and letting the dogs run free. House was neat with fun decor and had everything we needed. Enjoyed exploring the area. We had deer, turkeys and bears on the property!

Great Time

Overall this home is a great getaway spot for friends and family who wish to be removed from the world temporarily. The home is well kept and the property is very pretty. Treehouse is a nice touch too.

Ultimate Pocono Experience

Everything about this house and property rocked! You can tell a lot of love and attention went into creating the vibe in the house. Walking the trails, even in the rain, was an added bonus. Also, it's so close to Jack Frost and even though remote, it's still very close to markets, gas stations, etc. Would book again!

Unique and relaxing getaway

The cabin is so cozy and unique. Just as pictured. We went to unplug and relax and we were able to do just that. We were able to bring our two dogs and walk the grounds and some nearby trails. Just what we needed.

Fantastic cabin filled with thoughtful touches

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Everywhere we looked there were interesting pieces of decor and everything was laid out comfortably. There is enough wilderness to explore if you want to stay on the property and many trails a short drive away. We especially enjoyed finding and exploring the treehouse in the woods (compete with hammocks). Definitely recommend this cabin for anyone blending woods with comfort on their vacation.

This place is a hidden gem.

The property was beautiful. The whole experience from booking to arrival was easy. There are beautiful paths throughout the property with a hidden tree house that was gorgeous. The cabin has such a welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. The decor is beautiful and well thought out. The owner takes care of their renters from providing towels to linens and kitchen necessities example dish detergent, paper towels, dishes, cups, glasses, bowls, plates. Thank you for having my husband and I as guest to your cabin. We would definitely rent this cabin again in the near future. This place is a hidden gem.

A Truly Magical Place!

The photos don’t lie—this place is amazing! From the eclectic mix of rustic farmhouse decor and antique accent pieces to the incredible views, walking paths, river and secret treehouse, the calm and peace of the property embrace you as soon as you arrive. My extremely stressed husband relaxed within minutes of walking through the front door and stayed that way the whole week—something I didn’t believe was possible! Great getaway

Great country house, amazing decorations, clean, property was huge. The treehouse was off the hook, never imagined it to be like it was. We had 1 problem with the airbed , sent a message to our host and the problem was solved promptly. Comfy beds, crisp sheets, fresh towels. Confortable for 6 guys, 3 double beds , single , trubmle bed w pullout. My opinion is 4 people would work best with just tge 1 bathroom. But we made it work and it was worth it. Only bad thing about our 2 days was that we couldnt stay 4. Thank you Jen

Woodside cabin

The home was beautiful. We were unaware there were two other rental cabins on the property in close proximity. Just a heads up would have been better. Additionally, the layout was unclear- only one bedroom was downstairs. there is a unique spiral staircase (beautiful) that was challenging for the older adults in the party to navigate, so they had to sleep in downstairs bedroom and on the couch. We had a great time!

Tranquil getaway in pastoral setting

We love Willow Run Lodge! The furnishings are comfortable, rustic and kitschy. The swing and chairs on the front porch are a wonderful way to while away an afternoon. There’s plenty to do in the area and walking the grounds and the path to the river is beautiful. The birdsong in the morning was glorious!Jen is very responsive and easy to deal with. The only issue we had was with the WiFi. I couldn’t connect on my Apple tablet or phone, but my husband was able to on his Android. We were able to stream using the smart TV. We’ll be back!

Little getaway

Nice little secluded cabin in the woods. As it is not a hotel, you should expect to find cobwebs etc inside of the property since it is in the middle of the woods-so, overall cleanliness was what I expected. The only negatives were-The kitchen sink handle needs to be repaired. It is very loosely attached to the countertop and the handle would continuously come off during use. 2. It was absolutely freezing upstairs. The welcome email mentioned ordering firewood on a kiosk in the hallway, but there was no kiosk anywhere. We went down the road to purchase firewood which definitely helped defrost us in the main living area but I would highly recommend bringing a few extra heavy blankets. IT IS EXTREMELY DARK outside, again to be expected in the middle of the woods but also terrifying going outside at night with mounds of bear poop feet away from the front door. I would suggest the owner replace some of the burnt out bulbs and maybe invest in a spotlight for travelers safety. Lastly, the internet. There is WiFi but after trying to figure out what the connection issue was we discovered that the internet cord to the modem is very finicky. The WiFi appears as connected but would have connection issues so often we weren’t able to get anything playing. All in, it was an enjoyable quick get away with family.amenities provided made the stay very comfortable. A little TLC in the spring and this place returns to being a true hidden gem.

Perfect Location for a Relaxing Weekend

This is my third time staying at this location and it gets better every time. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. If you're looking to stay in the area, I couldn't recommend it more.

This property was the absolute best! Clean house, comfortable bed, heated floors, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful bathroom, beautiful living room with huge windows and a huge fireplace, well-appointed and well-stocked kitchen, board games available, we could go on and on!
