Harry, his wife & rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My young adult son stayed a couple of days after I traveled on and I was confident that Harry was watching out for him.

The manager couple went out of their way to accommodate the requests of customers like hot beverages, printing important papers on their computer and providing dishes and cutlery from their kitchen for dinner. They came and checked several times if we were happy with our stay. Manager's wife cleaned our room so clean that we felt nice coming back from outside at the end of the day regularly. Excellent management and excellent stay there.

I was a bit nervous going to a 2 star motel BUT in spite of it being old the outside was clean as well as inside AND the owner and his wife were so nice. In fact when we were carrying a plastic bin of clothes to the upper floor the owners wife quickly grabbed the tub from my husband and brought it to our room. Never had that happen at other hotels. I would definitely stay here again. A very pleasant surprise

Hidden gem in downtown Blacksburg

You can't beat the location + price combination! Walkable (about a mile or so) to Lane Stadium, so you could avoid parking fees and traffic for games, graduations, and other events. While the facility is older, the staff keep the rooms fresh, clean, and comfortable. They even had a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The best aspect are the people. I get the impression this is a family-owned motel, and they were incredibly nice. I came in late evening Saturday for the Hokie Half Marathon on Sunday. The gentleman at the front desk greeted me, we had a fund conversation as I checked in, and he offered to help me with parking in the back. Moreover, when I explained I was there for the race, they offered a late checkout. I was able to come back, rest for a bit, and shower without being bothered by the cleaning team. The cleanliness, comfort, price, and small niceties make this my new go-to when I'm in Blacksburg.

Great place to stay for overnight or few days. The heater in the room where we were staying was really loud when kicking on. Everything else was great. Older motel, clean, quiet and great staff.

Wonderful hotel and wonderful owners!

This is a wonderful place to stay, and is always very clean and comfortable. But the best part of this hotel would be the owners--they are truly kind, wonderful people who do their best to provide a nice, clean, comfortable and safe place for their customers at a good deal.
