"Great, classic, old hotel. Over 100 years old! Maybe is ready for some renovation but I wouldn’t want to change ambiance of the place. Not a lot of dining or shopping options outside the hotel but a nice place to spend a few days around the Glacier area. Nice golf course for the golfers! "
"The accommodations, though modest, were very comfortable. The parking was in a well-lit, safe area. The motel manager was kind, and helpful, and went out of her way to engage us, personally, and to answer any questions we had. "
"Pinecone Cottage offers a great location for accessing the Two Medicine Lake area, a less busy portion of Glacier, while still putting the most popular areas of the park, Lake McDonald, Many Glacier and Going to the Sun Road, within easy reach. The Two Medicine Lakes trails are absolutely beautiful and Scenic Point trail, also in Two Medicine, offered a rewarding challenge. We also had less than a two hour drive to Waterton Lakes Park in Canada which is fantastic as well.As for the cottage, it is the perfect home away from home, with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bath, comfortable eating area and living room. There are views from every room, plus a lovely seating and dining area outside with views of the mountains. Colleen has ensured that everything you could want is here.Bonus - Parking is just outside the door for easy loading and unloading. "
"The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. However, the cleaning person did not do a good job. On top the toilet tank, there was a wad of dirty toilet paper left. That was disgusting.
We had a warm room with a bed to sleep on. The price was so low that I should not really complain. "
