"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. "I had a "newer" room at the back of the hotel overlooking my favourite pub, the Beau Nash Tavern. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-appointed. As a new room it was shoe-horned into the existing property so getting to my room was pretty funny as the path from the front desk to it was convoluted in an entertaining sort of way (people enjoyed the video on my Instagram!). I had dinner and breakfast in the dining room, both were excellent too. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would stay here again."
