The Coolibah Hotel is aptly rated at 3 star. Unfortunately when we arrived, there was no pool as advertised which was disappointing. However upon checking in, we were given an upgrade room for no additional expense which was greatly appreciated. The owner was very accommodating and we had a re-union dinner there one night and the buffet meal was great. Given its an older style motel, there were several small maintenance items that required attention but nothing that caused us any great inconvenience. A god place to stay in Blackall for the money.

Motel looked a little tired but the staff were friendly andhelpful, and their kitchen provided the most succulent steak meals - generous portions. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the location was on the main road. A very pleasant experience.

Average country town motel, no flash bells and whistles. The aircon worked well the location within the town was convenient and quiet. The staff were attentive and present.The room was clean and tidy although a little tired. Restaurant /bar was not open. It’s not The Hilton, but functional and reasonably priced

Location was good, accommodation simple but adequate. Although a slightly larger fridge would be welcome. I love the under cover parking right outside the door. The main reason for the lower rating is the level of cleanliness. There were area in the room that were not cleaned very well.

The room was clean and comfortable with hot free flowing shower. The internet was very poor and slow, kept dropping out. I was disappointed that the kitchen was closed that night (beyond owners control) and had to go out again to get a meal.

The room I had this time was not as good as previously although the room was clean, the bathroom was very small and water pressure was low. Meals were not available again except for a small selection of basic frozen meals cooked. Good WiFi internet and TV Signals. The room was comfortable but disappointing compaired to the previous room.

Process was good, quick checkin. Room basic but all that was needed for night. Single bed was comfortable. Had diner of lasange and vegs, chips, variety of beers at huge dining room that had large tv to watch while having meal which was good. Shower at room was hopeless, took 10 minutes for hot water to come through, then not hot. Quiet location even when trucks going by during night. Tv worked, air con cold, nice towel. Had to check windows as was not locked, blind was down, lucky I checked.
