"The staff were amazing and helpful ..the food was great lots of options The rooms were well maintained and clean loved the option of room service by using the app. Enjoyed the entertainment in the evening"

LUXURY APARTMENT GIVING UP ON THE BEACH

"The location of the property is amazing. Right on the beach, and by the pool. The views are stunning and sunset amazing. Tamarin is a great base for looking round the island. We hired a car - highly recommend this! Get to see spots you otherwise wouldn’t. There are a local restaurants that are very good. Be careful on Sunday as everything is shut. The only negatives are, as said by the previous review we read, the bathrooms are not clean. The shower heads are in an awful state and there is mould all over it. We also rarely had hot or even warm water to shower in. Most of the time it was cold or barely like warm. We reported this and were told it was an island problem. Communication from the host was timely, but at times functional. We would have liked to have had a guide to the property on how things worked. Or local places to visit or tips for the island. Responses were not unfriendly but didn’t elaborate or follow up when we reported water issues. Overall the location and views outweigh the issues but when you lay good money for a lovely apartment you do expect warm showers."

"The larger 4-bed villa that I booked was lovely; we also saw the inside of a smaller 3-bed unit, and it looks like the 3-bed ones have had a bit of a refurb that hasn’t reached the 4-bed villa yet, but it was honestly lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially our cleaner Marie, who was an absolute star. Would thoroughly recommend."

"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."
