This was my second time staying at this hotel and most certainly won’t be my last!! The rooms are spacious, clean, and luxurious. Also the staff here are amazing! I believe Maria/Marie (I don’t remember exactly) made us feel super welcome and taken care of! I even left behind some belongings by accident next door and another staff member Jasmine went above and beyond to find and secure my things which was extremely nice of her and I thank her deeply for that! Definitely my go-to spot when staying in the city!

The Grove Inn was a comfortable and convenient stay. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and I slept extremely well. The location was easy to access and worked well for my plans in San Francisco. That said, the overall feel was more simple than elegant, and there was a noticeable room odor that detracted from the experience. While it was perfectly fine for a short stay, it didn’t quite match the ‘boutique’ feel suggested in some reviews. Overall, a decent option if comfort and location are your priorities.

Our stay at the Beacon Grand was exceptional. When we checked in Veronica was friendly, professional, and very helpful. We were also impressed to see management, Leif Abram, greeting guests in the lobby! The room was clean and provided a impressive view. We felt safe. The location is ideal for sightseeing, dining, and shopping at Union Square. We did not need a car and walked to China Town, North Beach, and to the SF Museum of Modern Art. We could not recommend the Beacon Grand more highly! WE WILL RETURN!
