The propert was alright. The one queen bed was saggng in the middle. Having to pay $26.00 for 2 bottes of water was mind blowng and ridiculous and nothing but a money grab! The location was perfect as we were flying out the bext day.

Not so great
We went to Bismark for a family weekend getaway and chose this hotel with an expectation of relaxing in the evenings with a hot tub soak and pool. Both were very poor and the condition of the entire pool room was very poor. Hot tub wasn't operational. Certainly did not reflect the photos in the advertisement. Staff was good. Location was very good. Rooms were okay, dated but clean. Bismark is a great clean small city with all the amenties needed.

The hotel is in poor overall condition. Our room was not very clean. Hair from a prior guest was all over the bathroom floor and in the bathtub. The hot tub was broken and the pool water looked dark and murky.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Needs some upgrades.
Was disappointed that the hot tub was out of order, which was one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel thru our internet search. Aside from that, everything was fine. Generally clean, with friendly staff. Pool area is open until 11pm, which would've been perfect if hot tub had been working. Noon checkout is later than any hotel I've stayed in for years. TV in our room had a lot of "tiling" going on. Guessing it is just older. Ice machine was slushy. Breakfast was decent.

The property was dirty, the mattress very hard, the toilet seat was broken, the hot tub was out of service, the pool area was dirty, it took 20 minutes to check in because no one was around at the check in desk, it was noisy around my room late at night.

We were not excited about our stay once we arrived. Checking in went ok but cannot say we were greeted with professionalism. Found the pool was not usable, the room was clean but there were a few things that could be updated or cleaned better. Breakfast was a big disappointment. We will not stay there again.

Handy Hotel Off 1-94
Good hotel off Interstate 94 with restaurants nearby (Red Lobster next door). Unhandy entrance to the parking lot for the hotel from the main road. Must go around the block to access the hotel. Nice little hot breakfast included in the hotel rate. Rooms are starting to show their age in the decor, and very tiny TVs. Beds were comfy. No separation of garbage for recycling. Charged $3.00 a night EXTRA for parking. This was not mentioned at check-in. Called when I got home and was told this is per Marriott that a parking fee is charged. This is not something you will find anywhere else in Bismarck, or North Dakota for that matter. Marriott probably needs to consider what is typical in that particular community and/or state! They did refund my $6.00 for the two nights charge for parking after I called to complain.

Great staff
The front desk was wonderful! I called ahead and they had a roll away bed all set in the room for us when we arrived. We had to leave at 4:30 am in the morning and they had grab and go breakfast ready for us so our kids could grab a bite to eat.

Disappointment upon check in.
The biggest issue we had was being given a King suite when we had booked a queen double. The sofa beds are truly not that supportive or comfortable especially for our adult son with us who has chronic back pain. There were no double queen rooms available we were told. Except for that, the room and the facility were great!

Card keys didn’t work. New keys also didn’t work. Finally, we were told that they were having trouble with that room’s door and changed our room…to the one next to the elevator! Also, the treadmill wouldn’t work and the staff person didn’t know why.
