Leider sind die Zimmer, wir hatten ein Apartment, in die Jahre gekommen und müssten dringend renoviert und zeitgemäß eingerichtet werden. Die Couch im unserem Apartment hatte große unschöne Flecken und das Bad ist gefühlt aus dem letzten Jahrtausend. Parken kann man gleich hinter dem Hotel zu vernünftigen Preisen, dass war positiv."

If you are over 4' 6" tall (125cm?) (I do not exaggerate) you will certainly suffer a painful bump on the head. Also, there is no AC: it was very uncomfortably hot and stuffy. And this is not a full service hotel. For example, if there is a problem in the corridor in the middle of the night (as there was)...
"Staff friendly and competent. OK breakfast. Diner was fine. We could not quite understand the high rating this hotel got. Forest themed, the decoration was sad, a bit outdated and worn. The mattresses were thin and not particularly comfortable. Our view of the forest was to a rain drenched copse strewn with beer cans and a tissue (I hope unused). Perfectly adequate, but overrated.

"Rooms weren’t very clean. Ants in the room for example. Staff weren’t very friendly upon check in. We came in at 6.30pm and asked if we could eat in the restaurant. We hardly was allowed dinner as they were closing down. So we rushed through dinner and generally didn’t feel very welcome. Beds were poor and rooms felt very old. And it wasn’t even very affordable. Not coming back. "
