"We had an amazing time for my bachelor party at the lake swift Cabin Resort. Beautiful log cabin right next to the lake that was very clean and cozy."
"We had a great weekend stay in the Cougar House, close to great hikes and gorgeous scenery. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our visit. We walked to breakfast at the Lone Pine Resort and dinner at the Cougar Bar & Grill- both great places with friendly staff. We're already planning another trip to explore the area more."
"Excellent for big groups going to the lake. Brought 2 16 foot boats and plenty of room for parking.Downstairs was great for hanging out and I am sure there are some great memories made there. Definitely will be back to explore the lake and area again."
St. Helens House ~ Yale Lake/Mt St Helens Retreat.
10/10 Excellent
"A fantastic, rustic but clean and cozy, cabin super convenient to trailheads and Mt St Helens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and our teenager loved the loft. We would definitely stay here again!"
"Great location as home base if you are exploring Mt St Helens. The cabin was clean, well appointed, and a great place to stay with our pup. We cooked at home mostly - we primarily grilled which worked out great (charcoal grill) . Recommend bringing all cooking ingredients like oil, spices, etc. And if you require a high quality non-stick pan, you might want to bring that too.It rained most of the time but we were able to get in some fire pit time, which was lovely and relaxing. Cell reception is poor in the entire area, and while the cabin has WiFi it didn’t seem to handle streaming content well, so we leveraged the vast DVD collection once we were done exploring. It was quite fun to live like it was 1995 again: Besides enjoying the cabin, we hiked Ape Canyon, Lava Canyon falls, and the Ape Caves - all conveniently located (less than 30 min) highly recommend! Also ate at both Lone Fir and Cougar Bar and Grill - both were great. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back and stay!"
"Really lovely place, hot tub was nice, view was seriously spectacular. Easy walk down to the lake as well maybe 15 minutes depending on how much stuff you are lugging around. 1000% would stay here again!"
