Newly renovated bungalow in beautiful neighborhood of Forest Park. Close to everything downtown while still in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. 5 min drive to center of town. Get great sleep with blackout curtains/blinds in every bedroom.
3 min drive or short walk to all of the following: 3 breweries (Includes Popular Avondale and Cahaba Breweries), 2 parks, Avondale entertainment district, or the more quaint Forest Park restaurant district.. I promise to try to make your stay wonderful! Ring doorbell on front door for security. No smoking or vaping inside, in the basement, or on the front porch.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cute little place. The house was very nicely decorated, clean and cozy. It had everything we needed to feel at home away from home! We would definitely recommend staying at this house.

Danny was an amazing host! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for 5 people. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cute little house with everything you need

Super clean house in a quiet and hilly neighborhood. Amenities were as listed, coffee was appreciated, lots of towels. We will be back to visit our UAB student.

Amazing stay!

This was an absolute great stay! The house was so clean and had everything we needed. There was also a “landing pad” in the kitchen with everything we needed to know and recommendations in the area all listed. I was also impressed with a QR code to easily connect to the internet. I would definitely recommend this property and also will stay again if I am in the area!

Nice little bungalow

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. Home was as advertised with accurate pictures. This is a great location convenient to most of Birmingham. Five minutes to downtown and less than 15 to Mountain Brook. This is also a great neighborhood if you enjoy running or walking. We would stay here again.

Great House

We came in town to visit our daughter. This house was as described, great location and very clean. Owner gave plenty of communication on parking, restaurant suggestions etc. Definitely would recommend!

Charming neighborhood

This home looks deceptively small from the outside, but don’t be fooled! The lot is deep and each bedroom has ample space. We loved the big yard for our dog. The house had everything we needed in the charming Avondale Park area.

THE BEST VRBO I’ve ever stayed in!!

Family visit

This house is located in a convenient and quiet area of Birmingham. It was close to my son's residence so we could visit him easily without dealing with traffic. The house has been redone with nice finishing touches to make you feel at home. The beds were comfortable and everything was nice and tidy upon arrival. The owner left us with toiletries and the staple items to make our stay even easier. We look forward to staying in this property again in the future.

Very nice, clean and big-dog friendly!

Super clean, nicely appointed, and in a sweet, quiet neighborhood in close proximity to cool breweries and restaurants. We needed a spot that would accept a 70 pound dog and even without the "dog-friendly" label, this is one of the nicest VRBOs we've stayed in. The floor plan makes sense and there are helpful labels and signage around the house. The bed was very comfortable, the pics represented everything accurately, and the host is communicative and responsive. The fenced back yard is much bigger than we expected, too. This is one of our favorites and when we visit Birmingham again we will check here for availability first.

Great Place

We were 6 family members who traveled from different parts of the country to attend our niece’s wedding and related activities in Birmingham. Dan’s place was perfect for our group. It was centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, immaculately clean, well appointed and very comfortable for our group. We had absolutely no issues, but I did contact Dan to see if we might be able stay a little past our 10am checkout time and he responded immediately, graciously granting our request. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Birmingham, this is the place for you. I know you’ll be as happy as we were.

Had Everything!!

Really enjoyed this property. Was visiting family and had my 80 yr old mother with me. Loved that the property was easy to get in and out. The kitchen was fully stocked. It even had some coffee and creamer so I didn't have to run to the store until the next day. Appreciated all the suggestions for food and drink. Lots of nice extra touches that made the home very comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

Great House, Great Neighborhood!

Me and some buddies came in from out of town to see a show at Avondale Brewery! This house was a 2 minute ride from Avondale Brewery, with many others attractions in the neighborhood, and the Uber charges were exceptionally reasonable. Very nice house. Sizeable kitchen, large dinning table, plenty of seating around the table, sofa that would seat 4-5 comfortably or two people could stretch out, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. I would definitely consider this house for a future trip. Next time I will plan a longer stay. Avondale is a great neighborhood with a lot to offer.

Very Nice house

very comfortable. not over decorated. the furniture fit well in the rooms…it wasn’t junked up with things. The bathrooms could use some shelves for toiletry items but still very nice. The only complaint I have is that the gates on the fences were broken and that’s the main reason I chose this property was so the dog could run freely. If the gates are fixed I will rebook.
