Scenic House Located At The Doorstep to West Glacier National Park Entrance
10/10 Excellent
"This property is wonderful. I loved it. It was neat and clean, comfortable, quiet, well stocked with an assortment of things (spices, condiments, etc); almost everything one would need. The beds were so comfortable, including the pillows. I'm a funny one about pillows. The owners were very thorough and helpful with giving us information about the property and what was expected/needed. I could easily live there. Homey. And did I say the beds were so comfortable? It is located within walking distance to the West side entrance to Glacier Park. They have a mercantile at the entrance to the park and also a gas station/store/restaurant at the end of the drive from the house and Hwy 2, also within walking distance. We were there early so a lot of places were not open. But that was ok. It didn't take away from the trip. I highly recommend this property for its cleanliness, comfort and location."
"We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. There are only 12 rooms so the place is so nice and intimate. The rooms are cozy and eco-friendly. Breakfast is set up by Brian, the manager, who is a delight! The upstairs above the eating area is set up as a living room and there is a balcony to enjoy the beautiful woods surrounding the lodge. It is not far from the train station and around the corner from a cute shopping area as well as the entrance into Glacier National Park. We highly recommend Glacier Guides Lodge. You will not be disappointed."
"Very clean and comfortable room. The check in process occurs at the main store which I didn't completely understand until I saw the sign on the door. Room had a great view of the lake. Everything in the room was excellent."
"The main building was awesome. Clean, common area had nice furnishings. Room was lovely, nice personal touches. Staff were friendly. Would definitely stay here again. "
