"Fairly basic unit but had everything we needed. Could park right outside unit. There was a hose out the back for washing our bikes after our ride on the A2O section so that was a plus. Walking distance down to the pub & shops. "

"No frills accommodation but certainly comfortable and had everything we needed. Steep ladder up to the bedroom loft (we’re seniors!) but we managed it carefully. No tv but we didn’t mind. Amazing starry night each night of our stay. Close to the A2O bike trail where we biked from our accommodation towards Twizel, Great communication from host. Thank you. "

"Our stay at the house had a few issues that affected the overall experience. The host was responsive and did communicate with us, and they were willing to adjust the check-in time, which we appreciated. However, it was only after we enquired about check-in that we were informed the dishwasher was leaking and wouldn’t be fixed until the following week. This was disappointing, as it’s something we would have preferred to know in advance.The kitchen also wasn’t equipped with the quality cookware that was mentioned in the listing, which made preparing meals more difficult than expected. In addition, on the morning of our checkout, the gardening service arrived and began mowing the lawns before we had even left(clearly not done before arrival), which felt intrusive and rushed.Overall, while the host was communicative, the maintenance issues and lack of amenities meant the stay didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the listing."
