Jorge was great. We thought the breakfast was included. But I t wasn’t A little pricey. €9 for a continental bfst. We around to the Bombon boss and got a coffee and a ham and bc cheese bagel for less than €4the hotel is in walking distance to everything. Had s great visit.

No frills but great location
Great location. Basic, clean, adequate acommodations. The front desk clerk was curt and not so friendly but keep in mind this isn’t the Ritz Carlton. Nevertheless I’d recommend this hotel for anyone traveling on a budget and staying one or two nights.

Great value stay
Nice hotel in a great location for the value. The double bed had one normal pillow and one extra long pillow, which was a bit odd. The front desk was able to give us a second pillow though - great service.

Perfect location in old town. VERY small shower in the room. I’m a small person and had a very difficult time in there, especially with the lack of any space to store soap and shampoo. The hallway lights are on motion detection, so it’s a little off putting to open the door and look out into a pitch dark hallway. Staff was lovely.

Firstly, this was a spacious lovely hotel I’d stay in again when I return. It was nestled into the heart of the old town- a walkable pedestrian only area from 11pm onward. This means that you can’t pull up in a car to the door to unload your luggage as we found out quite accidentally when we tried to drive through the pedestrian zone. Parking is not far and you can unload at the entrance of the Calle Jardines which is a 2 minute walk away. There was a real bathtub! Great for baby and they had a lovely cot made up for her when we arrived as I had asked! Shopping is right outside the door as well as fantastic restaurants and cafes. There is a lovely park 5 minutes away and we could walk to the Guggenheim- which was the purpose of our pilgrimage. My only negative is that the breakfast was underwhelming and lacked options. It was not worth 7euro.

Good budget hotel
This is a very convenient budget hotel , in the center of the old town , with easy accessibility of major museums and sites in Bilbao , not fancy but serve it’s purpose honorably. The staff is very friendly and helpful , although they need to have more people on staff . I do recommend this hotel fir a short stay .

Very nice little hotel and very nice location. Newly remodeled bathroom and clean sheets. Overall very clean and very close to shopping and cafes. They were very attentive as I traveled with my family.

SAFETY ISSUE!!!! STAY AWAY
We arrived to a room with PUBIC HAIR in the shower and had used soap. We got changed to a different room that smelled like urine. The walls had black stains that could have been mold. Very noisy from other guests and outside talk, walls are thin. Had sleepless nights due to this. Worst part of the stay was after 2 nights, the room key stopped working and our room could not be SECURED! We had to wait until a locksmith came to fix the problem as there is only one person at the front desk at a time. I never write reviews but this was a terrible experience. I have stayed in Bilbao many times before in other hotels that included breakfast, had better service and cleanliness. We weren't allowed a late check out therefore we had to wait in the reception desk for 3 hours and it's not that comfortable. The one positive thing I can add is that the gentlemen with glasses at the front desk is extremely nice and tried to help us as much as he could. If you don't care if your things get stolen, or if you get an infection, or being able to rest - then choose this place. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Old city Bilbao
Located in the old town, nice hotel with good location. They kept my big luggage for me while I went to San Sebastián. Front desk people are very nice and speak English good. It’s a 10 minute walk from Plaza Mouya which is where the airport bus departs and arrives plus the hotel is very close to the underground and a nice 20 minute river stroll to the Guggenheim . Good value

Good location in a walkable city or 3 minutes to the tram.... bar downstairs a bit noisy but no real issue for us... lots of shops, bars & restaurants close by.

Very happy! We spent one night in Bilbao and the location of Hotel Jardines is perfect! We had a front room and enjoyed the street view without being bothered by the noise. The hotel is clean, the staff was extremely helpful, breakfast was quite adequate, and they held our luggage as we had a late day tranfer. We recommend this hotel.

Great Location
Great location in the old city, 15-20 minute walk to Guggenheim, great staff. Many good coffee shops, bars, restaurants and bakery nearby. It well exceeded expectations for a 2* property.

In Bilbao for four nights on an April shopping trip from the UK. The hotel is located in the pedestrianised old town. Clean, functional, well maintained. Stay went without a hitch. The location is great, surrounded by quirky shops and bars in an area full of character. I'd stay there again. Very good value.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with great location in the old town, lots of places to eat nearby and very short walk to the tram . Abando train station about 5 or 6 blocks away. The price was good for the location we will stay here next time we are in town.
