We had a wonderful time in Getxo and can unreservedly recommend the apartment. It was perfect for the two of us, from the appliances - especially the washing machine and dishwasher - through the comfortable bed to the terrace, which is actually even better than it looks in the pictures - you can look over the estuary to the hills on the other side.The location was perfect, there are two beaches within 5 - 10 minutes walk, but you're in the middle of the town and have bars and shops literally across the road. We traveled a lot using public transport and it's also extremely convenient for busses and the metro, which will take you into the centre of Bilbao in about 20 minutes. Going the other way, you can walk along the coast path almost directly from the flat up to the lovely bays and beaches on the north coast.The flat was very clean and comfortable, and Laura was very patient and very helpful, both with the checkin process and also with recommendations.We almost never go on holiday to the same place twice ... here we almost certainly will!
