"I’m hesitant to say how great this place is so I can get a room next time I travel there! Best possible location, no car needed, helpful, friendly staff, cozy rooms, great showers. I would recommend getting a room with street view."

"The hotel is very good, it just lacks the atmosphere of a visible bar. Staff are happy to serve a drink but it's not the same as sitting with other guests and talking before dinner."

"Overall a positive stay. The location is excellent - close proximity to Guggenheim, funicular and Casco Viejo. Appreciated that staff let guests borrow umbrellas when it rained. Only minor gripes were lack of same day laundry service (at least the morning I inquired), bathroom countertop not thoroughly scrubbed and warm breakfast items were not warm at all (though variety of buffet was excellent). "

"I’ve stayed in Bilbao about 50 times for business over the past 10 years. This isn’t my normal hotel, but it’s a really good back up. The parking here is more spacious that many other hotels in the centre and with good availability even if you’ve not booked. The rooms are comfortable and the location is good for the river and the old town "

"Actually the hotel notified in advance that they were having problems so had moved us to Hotel Ercilla, a sister property but more upscale. I recommend it. "

"Hotel location in Old Town was excellently situated right next to the river and all the hot spots. The room and bathroom was very spacious. Beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet thanks to the enclosed balcony that kept all the street noise out of the room. There was a good sized desk and closet storage as well as outlets and USB bed-side.
