"The room smelled of old smoke . We are non smokers . No bathroom fan , but states with new renovation is central . Major exterior renovations throughout resort . Staff were awesome check in . Indoor pool was cool 1 vent functioning, asked for pool towels was right there . The steam room non functional. $$ was expensive, but comparable to other properties . Would stay again , staff are great "

"Everything about our stay at Hotel Canoe was excellent. The hotel and the rooms are beautifully designed and the on site bar was a great place to relax in the evenings, especially during happy hour! The location was great, especially with the complimentary bus pass as you could be in the centre of Banff in 5 minutes. Although one time we decided to walk it and it was only 20 minutes on foot. The staff at the front desk and the bar were all very friendly and the complimentary teas and coffees at check in were a great touch. My only complaint is that it’s a shame the same room is 3x the price in summer, otherwise we’d definitely be coming back!"

"Beautiful lodge so conveniently located to the downtown area full of shops and lots of dining options. Was provided a pass for transportation to the mountain so that was an unexpected benefit. The huge fireplace in the lobby was a peaceful spot to sit and reflect on the day. Would definitely choose them again."
