Let's be clear. This condo was on the top floor overlooking the lifts and the mountain. It took less than 5 minutes to get from the room, down to the ground floor, outside, and onto a lift at Big Sky mountain! I'm pretty sure I'd be happy sleeping in a lawn chair in the hallway at this location, but the condo was actually pretty nice. It's a 2 level unit with a lovely master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. The master shower has TWO shower heads, if you're into that sort of thing. There was also another full bathroom on the first floor which was really great. Lots of condos don't have that additional 'public' bathroom when you're all hanging in the living room or kitchen. The kitchen and living room were also on the first floor, and there was a decent amount of room in the place. Sofas and chairs were sufficiently comfortable. Upstairs at the top of a tight spiral staircase (nobody likes spiral staircases, especially after drinking), there is a loft with two queen beds and another full bathroom. There was plenty of room for a party of 6, or maybe even 8, since I think the living room sofa had a fold out bed. Everything in the condo worked including; gas fireplace, 2 zone heating and cooling, decent TV, fridge, stove, etc.. and anytime we needed anything, the folks at Stay Montana took care of it within 24 hours and usually the same day. I want to particularly call out the automatic ice maker. In well over 20 years of traveling to snowboard, this was the first place that had a working ice maker. It was awesome! I hate dealing with ice trays. The only thing that bugged me a little, and not enough to lose any stars, was the kitchen supplies. I was a little disappointed with both the quantity and quality of the kitchen tools and appliances. We were able to get the cooking done, but the lack of decent tools and the cheapness of the tools that were there was a little annoying at times. In their defense, I never called Stay Montana to complain, and I suspect had I done so, they would have brought better things over, but I was too busy having the time of my life on the slopes and Apres Ski just outside my door. Thanks for a great vacation!
