"Absolutely loved the place. The location on the water is spectacular. The room was updated and clean. The staff especially Heaven and Summer were so friendly and helpful. The Hidden Cafe where we had breakfast was a true gem. I loved the owner. The food was delicious. I would stay here the next time we come to the Keys. I am very particular about where I stay and this place was old Florida with charm and modernized inside. The price was so reasonable. Can't say enough about what a wonderful place this was. "
"Clean,. spacious and comfortable king pool view room. Simple amenities yet sufficient. Cute patio chairs with a hammock. Very tiny bathroom yet it was clean and serviceable. Door to room locked but the deadbolt was difficult and didn't always work. We have CPAP machines plugging them in was very difficult with the only outlet was directly behind the headboard..... discovered very dusty. Would benefit with outlets in the bedside lamps to remedy such necessities. The salt water pool was refreshing and the pool loungers were comfortable lots of shade and sun options around the pool deck.
Overall acceptable place to stay."
"Room was excellent. All rooms have excellent ocean view with patio. Exceptional resort for cleanliness, security, location, relaxation, dining, pools, marina. Daily saw manatees, pelicans, swimming at nearby Bahia Honda state park was incredible. Will return here. "
"This stay was truly unforgettable. The “front desk” is a folding table in a little old boat cabin. A cheerful old man sits there in the blazing heat and welcomes each customer with a smile and a good old fashioned door key. We got room 3 - a small room in the shared building by the road. At first I worried about road noise. Nonsense! It’s a cinder block building - no noise. We covered the window with a towel (the porch light is always on), cranked the AC down to 65F and slept like babies in falling apart beds with comforters from the 90s, after taking hot showers in a dumpy little bathroom that was neither clean nor well-appointed. Had to go back to ask for more towels, the towels came immediately by way of a very pleasant gal who called the man at the “desk” Dad. If this were my property, it would be the cutest, most in-demand motel in Marathon. Lots of potential here! But, it is what it is… I don’t know that I’d come back but we got what we came for: a shower and a good night’s rest. "
"This family owned small BnB was the best place we stayed during our 3 week vacation in Florida. The Inn is adorable and the family is always helpful for tips on the area. We used this as a base for Kennedy Space Center, for wildlife viewing/birding plus a trip up to St Augustine. "
