The accommodation itself was cosy and we enjoyed the elemental experiences of the spa, steam shower and open fire, especially after a breath-taking autumn swim in the surf! "The indoor pool was great. Apartment was nice and clean however in need of some maintenance with a hole in the bathroom ceiling. Terrible communication with booking as it’s an offshore call centre and had multiple issues as unable to receive calls back when promised and got stuffed around with key collection from them. "This a compact but spacious studio. Its key feature is the glorious outlook onto Painkalac Creek. This view out to the water, visible from the veranda and inside the studio, is deeply soothing and peaceful. We fell in love with an egret that visited on occasion. At one point we needed to contact the host of the property and her response was timely and helpful. We hope to return."

"Bad smell in unit when we first walked in. We discovered it after 24hrs. Smell coming from drain tray on the back of the fridge with rotten milk in it. Can’t fault the amount of towels for unit. Had to wait quite awhile at reception to get pool towels. No one at front reception to check out."
