Just a quick overnight to drop a family member off to hike the Appalachian Trail the next morning, but wish it was several days. Awesome views, spacious and great craftsmanship inside, relaxing. Hope to be back some day.

We were looking for a private retreat and had a great long weekend here. The house was great and the kids had a blast with the toys, bunk room, hot tub and overall property. Great hikes, saw deer, wild turkeys and bald eagles and enjoyed some lovely days renting boats on the lake. All around a great, relaxing get away. The owners were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

We stumbled upon this listing and were so glad we did! Hidden canoe is a paradise with so much to offer for all ages! The home was gorgeous, multiple levels to let everyone spread out and so many windows to let the view and sun shine in everywhere! Would highly recommend!!

This was exactly the escape we needed. The cabin was perfect and the view from the patio was amazing. We loved Big Canoe. We rented a pontoon a couple days and enjoyed the on site restaurant a couple nights. Oz was a gracious host and was so willing to help us when we arrived late and got lost. This was a great find!

The views alone were worth the trip! Unbelievably views from every room made it an experience to remember. Helping that was all of the small touches that made it a family trip to remember. Family pool games at night, legos for the kids and everyone used the hot tub! We loved being able to have family meals every night and easy mornings and on the deck overlooking what seemed to be all of Georgia. Would absolutely come back and have already recommended to others

The cabin was roomy and comfortable with a fantastic, long-range (45 miles?) view of Atlanta to its south. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The amenities in Big Canoe are also excellent, and we enjoyed the hiking. The hosts were always prompt with responses to questions. A very positive experience.

This is such a beautiful place to escape and explore as a family. The community and home are clean and well cared for. The home is stocked with everything you could need and more! Owners are responsive and thoughtful. We could get used to waking up to the view. Can’t wait to return!

This cabin is unique in its delightful layout and decor. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The cabin also appeared to be clean. Everywhere you look, there is a great view -- either south to Atlanta that is 45 miles away or into the woods on the other 3 sides. The windows (which were clean, by the way) are large and allow one to enjoy the scenery and passing wildlife. We really loved this cabin and we will be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday and our stay at this wonderful cabin. The nightly fires and views from hot tub on the balcony were some our favorite memories. The last night we saw cubs but no sign of mamma bear. The home was very well-equipped, clean and comfortable. We’d definitely rent this cabin. Our stay in Big Canoe was perfect. We have been coming to Big Canoe for years but this was our first time staying so high up on the mountain. The views from the house and the drive up were breathtaking. It is a far drive from the main gate (20 mins) but in my opinion worth it for the views! The cabin was clean, nicely furnished, spacious and very comfortable. Oz was great to deal with. Our family loved the pool table up stairs and the hot tub was perfect on the cool nights. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Oz for a memorable and relaxing vacation in your cabin!
