"I booked Kathy’s Cottage based on its high rating, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Check-in was extremely difficult, which was already stressful—especially since I booked this for my dad. Once inside, the heater and fireplace were not working. I contacted the provided number, and instead of sending help, they instructed my dad to light the pilot himself. He was not comfortable doing that, and I made that clear. They said they would contact maintenance, but no one ever followed up that night. As a result, my dad had to stay there in the cold all night. The heat only started working the next morning, which did not help the situation at all. This was not a safe or acceptable experience, and I would not recommend staying here."

She made everything feel welcoming and effortless, and her attention to detail really shows in the experience. "The downstairs has had a remodel but the upstairs is still outdated besides the bathroom. I was excited for the TeePee and foosball table for our child but neither were usable. No propane for bbq. There were no cleaning supplies to do our own clean when we arrived as it could have used a once over. I let the host know and some were dropped off later that day. Beds are decent. Could use some improvements but overall this home is a decent deal compared to other prices in town. "
