"We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location with easy access to Itasca. It was quiet and quaint. Loved sitting out on the porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view of the trees and listening to the birds. We did have a problem with quite a few flies in the house, but the host was responsive and brought us a fly swatter. But overall, we loved the place. The bugs were definitely not a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others visiting the area"

"We enjoyed so many aspects of our family vacation on the Island! First, we were on an Island! on the most beautiful lake we've ever encountered. We enjoyed the sauna, lake toys and spending family time together. Two frigs is a bonus! Rikka was responsive in handling any concerns that came up and we would love to return to the Island some day. I would ask about Finicky Freida, the pontoon is basically just a vehicle to transport items from the landing to the Island. I am fortunate to have a handy Motor-knowing hubby who could manage the outboard quirks...but, it would be really challenging for a novice. Rikka said they would be looking into retiring her... I would ask if the issues have been addressed before renting it. But if you just want to get your items to and front the Island...this will work. Overall, it was a fabulous week and I would recommend this experience. We loved the lake, nature, are attractions and experience! Also, a Friday to Friday stay was nice as it gave us the weekend to regroup and head back to the grind. "
