"It is a rustic cabin in the woods with beautiful views. It was well stocked, though it could have had more wash clothes. There was adequate parking space for three cars. Entrance into the gated community was smooth and easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"What a wonderful property and host! We wanted a “mountain cabin” experience with long range Mountain View’s and got exactly that: clean very comfortable cabin with spectacular views. The host is very responsive and helpful and promptly answered all our questions, not just with regard to the cabin, but the Wolf Laurel area and the whole NW NC mountain area in general. I’d stay at this location again in a minute. Like many properties in Wolf Laurel, the properties are pretty steep. We were in a standard rental car and were able to negotiate the roads and this particular driveway without any issues. But our visit was in the middle of the summer. If I were to come back to Wolf Laurel in the winter I will rent an SUV and AWD. That pertains to the whole community moreso than this particular property. Wonderful trip!"

"Great property. Plenty for the entire family to enjoy without leaving the property. A few minor issues, but all said and done it’s a great house in a great getaway mountain location. Everyone enjoyed all the amenities (hot tub, pool table, video arcades, overhead projector room, foosball, etc. ( Hard to play shuffleboard as the table is well off level). The host was extremely responsive to any immediate needs which were few.A few observations below, non of which diminished the experience:Outside of the house could use some TLC (a good pressure washing and cleaning of the entire downstairs area around the sauna and hot tub as well as the back porch steps to remove slippery mildew). The outside activity box was pretty nasty (looked like previous guests at some point left it open during poor weather and actual used it for their occasional trash). The back stair railing is quite loose and in need of repair and the front porch and lamppost lights didn’t work. The area carpets in the pool table room and the one in the downstairs master bedroom need replacing as they are very thin and wrinkle up big time when walking on them causing a trip hazard.The mini putt putt needs a drain. It fills with water during a good rain. The lighting in the house could use an upgrade."

"Our family of four and two small dogs had a wonderful visit! We loved using the community pool, hiking on the nearby trails (breathtaking views), using the fire pit, and hanging out watching movies when it rained. The cabin was spotless, had all the cooking materials/appliances we could possibly need, and was located within 30 minutes of several towns to explore. Tess is a very attentive and informative host. We definitely recommend this place!"

"The house was nice and the view was beautiful. The gas fireplace didn't work and the hot tub was dirty. I reached out about them and was told maintenance team would be by to take care of them. No one ever showed up so we couldn't use either of them during our week stay. It was cold and both would have been nice amenities. "
