"Terrible property. Don’t book! Expedia, please take this property from your recommendation list! Dirty and smelly rooms, bathroom is disgusting and disfunctional. Leaky toilet. No hot water until requested. AC is switched off periodically by the staff. Sheets are stained. No towels provided. There is no proper transportation service from this location. Have to walk to get a rickshaw. I will not recommend it to anyone. "

"I had an outstanding experience at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and very helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. With 24-hour security, I felt safe and at ease. What truly made this hotel stand out was the warm hospitality, making me feel like I was home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and give it a well-deserved 5/5 star rating."

"All Good at Sri Oskar Palace. Since it was not high season My Aircon no-river view was complementarily upgraded, to A Riverview room complete with a great shared balcony. They were really good at getting me from and back to the airport with the taxi service. My only issue, and it is not the fault of the hotel, was the aggressive monkeys. They would come onto the balcony and at first, be cute. I made the mistake of letting one sip some beer I poured for it on the top of the wall. It made a great Social Media post, but the next day, two monkeys joined me up on the balcony, and I didn’t have any beer!! They were not happy and acted out towards me… I Didn’t feel totally safe up there after that… Don’t give ANYTHING to the monkeys! Have breakfast away from the edge on the rooftop, because monkeys jumped on our tables and made a mess and broke glasses all over the floor…"

"I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Clark’s. The hotel has an old world charm. The staff is very efficient and pleasant. My room was spacious but I did not care for the two single beds - I felt as if II was going to fall off the bed! That was not what I had booked. The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet and on several days breakfast was served in two different restaurants. There was live Indian classical music in one of the Restaurants. The area around the Hotel is good with a mall next door. "
