"It's called the "Crown" for a reason, and it's because it's at the very top of the canyon, and a very steep and narrow road to and from Mcleod Ganj, or anything, really. Have a car, be prepared to hire cabs, or just stay at the hotel and enjoy the views. Which, to be fair, are very nice.
Out of 7 hotels in 7 cities in India in terms of service, the Luxe easily ranked last. The woman at the desk was proffesional, but the guy in an Addidas track suit handling our luggage did not approach Indian...

"It's a great property with a great view, the food is expensive so I would recommend to opt for a Half Board meal plan. The food is tasy and staff is polite, helpful and hardworking.
The Ropeway to McLeodganj is about 10km away only.
It's a quiet property with great rooms.
If you go for balcony make sure avoid ground floor as balcony is better if not on the ground floor.
