This recently renovated residence, featuring modern and elegant finishes, is located in one of the most distinctive and charming areas of Bevagna, right next to the medieval tower of Porta Molini and the ancient public washhouse, with Piazza dell’Accolta lapped by the waters of the Clitunno River. The bond between Bevagna and the Middle Ages is so strong that it shines through even in the spirit of the local people, who, once a year during the last week of June for the Mercato delle Gaite, step into the shoes of their ancestors, adopting their costumes, manners, and the rhythms of work and daily life.

The apartment is located about 200 metres from Bevagna’s main square, where you can admire the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the Church of St. Sylvester, the Church of Saints Dominic and James, the fountain, the Column of Saint Roch, the Palazzo dei Consoli, and the Civic Museum—and then wander through the quaint streets and alleys of the historic centre, all the way to the Roman Baths and the Church of Saint Francis. In the vicinity of Bevagna, you can visit Montefalco, known as “The Balcony of Umbria,” about 7 km away; Foligno, “Lu Centru De Lu Munnu,” 9 km away; Spello, “La Colonia Iulia,” 11 km away; and Trevi “Clear and serene among the olive trees,” 23 km away is Assisi, “Land of St. Francis,” 31 km away is Spoleto, “Duchy of the Albornoz,” and 34 km away is the provincial capital of Perugia, a city of Etruscan heritage and chocolate. Bevagna is also part of the renowned “Strada del Sagrantino,” which winds through the surrounding countryside and hills where this prized grape variety is grown.
