"Parking is good. You can park 1 car on each side of the house. The lake view is excellent as you are right on the lake (about 60 feet from the house). the rooms were clean and ready for us to stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was in the perfect location for shows at Bethel Woods Arts Center. The apartment was adorable, with everything we could need. the backyard with the hot tub, deck, and fire pit was excellent. Very peaceful, and many deer coming by to say hello!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night/5-day stay at this stunning secluded house. Very high end touches yet relaxed vibe provided the perfect backdrop for an end-of-summer retreat.The host (Nicky) was incredibly helpful and responsive. No question was too big or too small.For the previous five summers, we've taken our quick getaway in Callicoon. While we love Callicoon the location of this house is better if you like to hike. All of our favorite hikes (Tusten, Walnut Mountain, Lake Superior, etc.) are closer to this house than Callicoon. The difference in time is not great - maybe 10 minutes each way - but for a short get-away we found that a little less time in the car was noticeable. And, when the day was done, we came home to luxury, which was great. The marked trails in the back was also nice for an after-summer stretch.If you're a runner, this house sits on a road that is part of a 4-mile loop where you can't get lost. Don't be fooled, though, in thinking the loop isn't long enough. These are four challenging miles with serious climbs and drops. Welcome to the Catskills!Two big thumbs up for this house, location and host (Nicky)!The photos I attached are of the outside of the house, the main floor, the woods in the back and the road that is good for running. The first day was a little overcast which is why some of the lighting isn't great. I also had to decrease the resolution to allow these to be uploaded to Vrbo. "Fantastic little slice if heaven on the lake! Vicki (owner) was great communicating with us before our arrival. The house has tons of character inside and is well stocked with everything you need. Outside was awesome. Great deck overlooking the lake, patio right on the water with fire pit, deck out over the water. Kids were able to swim near the dock. Also, the place is outfitted with anything you might want of need.....Kayaks, Stand up paddle boards, paddle boat, life vests of every size, bikes, etc. Outdoor ping pong table, plenty of chairs, patio umbrella. This place is great! Rent it! Just not on the weeks we want to go back!!!!!! "
