"Our room in the lodge was in a pretty good condition, maintenance-wise. We have seen reviews to the contrary, however were pleasantly surprised. River view was not jaw-dropping, however just fine for relaxed pastime on the deck. The manager says that they clean bird droppings on the deck regularly, but the birds keep coming back.
Other things to be aware of: no staff on site outside of office hours 9-6. Instead we called their call center, the lady there was very welcoming and helpful. Wi-Fi was spotty in the room, however the cell phone signal was strong, we would use cell hotspot if we had to. Hot tubs are for the cabins, not for the lodge rooms."
