"I was amazed at this place. It is located within multiple farms and all there is all types of plants/ trees/birds/ animals. The staff as amazing as the place. Emerina kept on texting me to make sure I did not get lost. It is located about six miles off the main road since you need to drive thru the farms in a dirt road to get to it. I learned my lesson in previous trips an I only rent 4x4’s or SUV’s now. One way or another, you’ll find yourself in situations that a sedan will not do. I’ll be back again to Puerto Barillas. WiFi is only available by the office/pool. No WiFi in the rooms but you don’t miss it. The rooms and surroundings are a dream. I only saw the spiders monkeys since I only stayed one night. Next time I’ll stay at least two night to do the cacao farm and boat tour. "

"The house is located in a great gated community. Very quiet area. The house is equipped with every household kitchen item you may need. The 3 bathrooms do help when staying with family. Very clean house, beautiful home, very updated. There is a shopping center less then 10 mins away. The only thing i would say is that we spend 1 whole night and part of the next morning with no water in the house but we learned that it is something common in that city and nothing the host have control over. I would stay in this property if traveling again."
