This was my first time to stay in this hotel brand. It was okay. Breakfast options were good but expensive in comparison. I did not enjoy that the cleaning services were at times good on some days versus others. I also did not enjoy that the air conditioning turned off in the middle of the night. That is difficult and I would wake up each night when this would shut off, and it would get too hot, especially during a heatwave in the city. Overalll, good value, but may not stay here again in the future.

Pleasant but not great
Hotel pleasant but not great. Minimum 25 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz or 10 minutes on a tram. Apart from the hotel restaurant only 1 restaurant (Chinese) nearby. Cleaning very hit and miss, our cups, glasses and spoons weren't replaced after the first day. We needed a new pillow slip - left the pillow out and took the slip off but didn't get a new pillow slip. Lifts kept breaking down and the lift doors were vicious if they closed whilst you were getting on - I got a bruise from a closing lift door - not sure they would spring open if a small child was in the same situation. Very convenient for trams and a lovely large park opposite the hotel.

The hotel is nice modern and clean, staff very friendly and helpful, no tea and coffee facilities in room and a very early wakeup call from the building site opposite, ear plugs was supplied, but i understand this is beyond hotel's control, i still recommend this hotel and would use again.

Clean, good, great staff, slightly remote.
Quite far away from the sites and the City Centre. Restaurant very limited and very expensive. Loved the complementary sweets. Complimentary water and perhaps a bag of crisps would be a bonus. Other NH Hotels have a better food selection e.g. Plaza de Armas in Sevilla which is excellent. One question, is this just in Germany but why are the beds not made. I have had similar experiences in other German hotels. I am sure that there will be a good reason for this, I am sure, would love to know though.

Der Mitarbeiter der Feierabend machen wollte teilte mir mit, dass mein erster britischer QR code Impfnachweis und zweite Impfung im deutschen Impfpass nicht anerkannt sei sondern nur der EU QR code. Musste zur Polizei die mir bezugnehmend auf die berlin.de mitteilte dass die Regel nicht für personen wie mich gelte da ich eine Impfung im Ausland erhalten habe also reicht auch der Impfpass aus. Erst dann ließ ein zweiter Nachtschichtmitarbeiter mich einchecken. Er war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist sauber und schön eingerichtet. Großer Spiegel. Aber es gehört einfach zu einem 4 sterne hotel dazu, dass die Mitarbeiter sich mit den lokalmaßgeblichen Regelungen bekannt sind. Das muss ein Gast nicht erst mal zur Polizei.

I searched for a hotel with no carpets, given the much greater likelihood of proper hygiene in this year of the pox, and while the location of this one is not exactly anywhere that close to Alexanderplatz (as anyone can see by using Google Maps), it fit the bill perfectly. They take sanitation measures against the coronavirus very seriously. More than this, the rooms are bright, the beds very comfortable, the breakfast top-rate, and if you elect to not have your room cleaned daily (which I always do, for environmental reasons) you're rewarded with a free bar drink per day (wine, beer, or non-alcoholic). The hotel is in a quiet area (but that is probably true for most hotels in a generally quiet city) and well-served by public transport. The only issue for me in this regard is that I opted to take an Uber to and from Tegel airport since the primary connection is an airport bus - and buses are recognized as potential super-spreader modes of transport, so no, thanks. And that's 30 euro each way.... But back to the hotel - staff super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended.

Looks “innocent” from the street but it’s amazing inside. Very spacious rooms with a balcony. Massive french windows, no carpet (thank God). Looks and feels very relaxing. Underground parking. Amazing breakfast- included with Expedia. Very nice park just across the street and very close to the centre. The balcony is facing a building site (at this moment- Summer 2020) so there will be something else built close by as well (it’s not a problem though, it’s amazingly quiet during the night). I will absolutely stay in the same hotel when I’ll be driving through Berlin. It’s saved on my “Berlin accommodation” list as it’s worth it.

Hotel was ok bed sheets not changed any of the 3 nites we stayed. We where never told how much breakfast cost to the last day. On checkout when we went to pay they tried to make us pay in dollers then triwd to over charge us both the male and female on reception were rude to ourselves and other customers. This let the hotel down and i would not return for this reason.

I have been a fan of NH Hotels and use them for almost all my trips, but this time i was disappointed with the detail provided by the hotel of its location. I booked it because of the location alexanderplatz as its name is misleading. It is nowhere close to alexanderplatz and about 4 stops away from the square. Would be careful next time. Also they charged us 100 euros for a conference room for full day whoch was expensive with not even water included. Room didn't have the basic kettle and tea/coffee

I don’t often leave reviews but felt I had to as I found this hotel quite frustrating. When I checked in, I noticed that the hallway was very hot and stuffy. Likewise, the room was warm and uncomfortable. I couldn’t get the air con to work so contacted reception. I was told someone was take a look while I was out. The next day I had the same problem. I spoke to reception again and was told “it’s winter. We switch the air con off. Open the window” in quite a patronising tone. I already had the window but there was no draft. It was still 20c outside. Being a modern building, the airflow is minimal. Should I decide if I want the air con on? If it’s true - that ppl don’t need it - then they won’t use it. I’ve never encountered this before. It meant that we slept with the window wide open, meaning being woken up regularly by the church bells nearby. Also, the drains stink - how could they not notice this? There’s no extractor fan in the bathroom either. Beds too soft. Likewise, pillows. Lastly, no coffee making facilities. All quite poor for 4*. I stay in Berlin a lot. This is off the beaten track in a bad way. Stay near torstrasse.
