Hotel was good but the receptionist told me that they were not a problem if I will go earlier and charge my credit card in advance. When was necessary to go earlier then another receptionist told me it was not possible and Expedia should return my money so I could have an Invoice showing that the Balance was negative in a lot of Euros. Did talk with Expedia and they told me that the Hotel should return the money because they have charged me and not Expedia that in fact was true. Finally I show that and the Hotel told that they could return to me only one night instead of the four... Why? they have a proper signed invoice showing the exact amount. I'm now waiting for the response but has taken too much time already, this people just want to steel my money. So different for the common known German culture, very disappointing, never trust the credit card to this people, until know they are stealing me a lot of Euros.

Thank you for a great stay
Neat and clean hotel, at a great price, close to the subway and train station (tram line outside hotel or 10 minute walk). Breakfast was very good with many options. Great for family with kids. Would definitely consider if in Berlin again. Stayed 4 days.

VERY DESSAPOINTED WITH THE CLEANING. HOUSE KEEPING WENT INTO THE ROOM AND THEY DIDNT CLEAN AT ALL. WE KNOW THAT BECAUSE WE HAD A PERSONALISED HANG LABEL OF RECENT MARRIED AND WE LEFT IT IN THE ROOM AND HOUSEKEEPING WENT INTO THE ROOM AND HANGED IT OUT THE DOOR WITHOUT CLEANING! THATS UNRESPECTEFUL HONESTLY.

only issue was when they changed over our room every day, while they changed out all the dirty towels. they never changed out the wash cloth. interesting.

Bedroom was nice and bed comfortable. There was peeling wallpaper on one wall. The shower was not great and would not stay central. We put do not disturb sign on door as did not want the room cleaning when we went out. Staff ignored this removed sign and entered room.

Super bright
Room was great except the big, blistering, bright street light right outside our window. Even with the curtains closed it was too bright to sleep. I kept waking up thinking it was day time.

Breakfast is value for money very clean, we didn’t have much to do with the staffs but some of them were friendly, while some were moody. However my overall experience with the hotel is very good. Perfect location for any one that can afford it and wishes to explore Berlin

Dirty shower tray
Showers tray was grey , dirty and unhygienic .Toilet smelled heavy urine. I couldn't shower first day. Second day shower was same after I asked them to clean properly . Toilet smelled better. I had to shower second day but I was disgusted to shower in a such unhygienic shower. People at the reception was very nice friendly ,helpful and apologetic . Very lovely breakfast ,impressed.Busy modern hotel .

Good value for the price!
We were very comfortable at this hotel! The price was competitive for the area so that was the reason that we picked it, so we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the breakfast and how comfortable the room was. The major downside was that wifi was down and it took days to fix so we used a lot of phone data.

After reading the reviews, I’m shocked at how horrible this hotel was. I would never stay here again. The staff was 50/50. The manager was great! The people who work breakfast were rude. Breakfast was horrible, chaotic, flavorless, a total disaster. The waffle line was 20 mins long. I’m laughing writing this review because it was just an unbelievable experience. Spending a month all over Europe this summer, this has been the worst hotel of them all. The area wasn’t nice either. It’s right in front of an abandoned building. The rooms were okay. People work hard to travel and one should enjoy their stay. Traveling isn’t cheap. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

The area around hotel is not very nice. However it is only an 8 min walk to Alexanderplatz train station. If you have Euro coins, you can go on the tram across street from hotel. At Alexanderplatz there is many coffee shops, 5 guys, and other places to eat. There is also shopping; TK Maxx, footlocker, etc. The breakfast had a huge variety for all tastes; very enjoyable (except long food lines). The front staff is not particularly pleasant but the hotel property itself is nice and clean. The pull out sofa bed was ok; definitely not as terrible as others we’ve utilized. It is probably acceptable to most under 60 that do not have any back issues. It is a great value because of the breakfast, nearby Alexanderplatz & easy access to train station & tram. At train station, go to platform 4 to go almost anywhere within city to see most all the main attractions; just know which direction you are headed. Utilize your phone map. An AB ticket covers most of city; an ABC covers more area on outskirts (like Sachsenhausen concentration camp). Once you buy a ticket, the ticket covers all your train, bus, & tram rides for 24 hrs (if you buy 24 hr ticket). My review is 3 stars because of the stupid shower design. The bathroom flooded every time someone took a shower. Therefore we constantly used our towels to dry the floor then had to retrieve more. Otherwise I would have rated it 4-5 stars.

Que for check in was almost out the door. Two staff members on desk but one had been instructed to do something else on the computer. Everybody seemed stressed with poor vibes, not the greatest welcome. Bed was hard, but otherwise room was okay. Had somebody come to set up the TV while we were in the room, which felt like poor planning. Breakfast was awful. Range was good but quality not great. Hot drinks from a machine was terrible. Room where food was was too small for the number of people, and the whole thing felt chaotic. Nobody to check your room (so feel free to pop in and eat for free if you're in the area!) so a free for all in where to sit in the poorly laid out room. Best thing about it were the tram stops outside so you could easily escape. Would recommend that you find somewhere else to stay.
