We booked this property for a family trip, My brother, sister in law, son, daughter in law, and our 2 grandchildren. Communications with the host was very thorough, and timely.The property was exceptionally clean, stocked with most anything you may need on vacation. The pool area was a little far, but nothing that was unreasonable. The back yard was fenced, which was a pleasant surprise as it contained our 3 year old granddaughter and gave her a place to play freely. Easily the most wonderful thing about the property is its location. I initially was traveling to visit Assateague Island to drive on the beach, the quiet and tranquility. I never really realized my proximity to Ocean City until it was almost time to take the trip. The property is located almost exactly the same distance from both locations offering the peace of Assateague for guests wanting that vibe, or the action and activities of the Ocean City vibe. Or even better the daylight vibes of peace, and evening vibes of activities. To sum up the experience of the stay. Its a fabulous property in a fabulous location.

The location of this well-kept and well equipped home is perfectly positioned north of Assateague Island, south of Ocean City and a few minutes away from downtown Berlin. The property is located in a family friendly community with a variety of fun amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A pleasant stay

Our stay at Michelle and Joe’s place was a pleasant one. The house is just as pictured and was very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed being able to use the community amenities such as the pool and game room. Just be aware that the pool/community center/crab pier, etc. isn’t something you can quickly walk to. It required us to jump in the car and drive a street over to the other side of the development. This wasn’t a deal breaker for us at all, but isn’t spelled out on the listing. We also enjoyed sitting out on the back patio for dinner or after a day out. Our daughter enjoyed using the Pac-Man and we loved that there was a second living room upstairs. It was very convenient having a washer and dryer present. The house is located just a short drive away from OCMD, Berlin and Assateague, all of which we visited during our stay. Michelle and Joe were fairly prompt with their communications back and forth with any questions I had. We did have to check out a night early due to unforeseen circumstances with the house, however Michelle and Joe were very understanding and we were reimbursed promptly for the lost night. I appreciated their response to this matter. Overall, we had a great stay and I wish them all the best with future renters!
