"You get what you pay. Rooms were not clean or vacuumed. Had to ask for clean towels after being out of the room all day. Included breakfast was poor. Location is great if you're looking for an affordable spot close to downtown. Literally only a 5 minute drive."

"Our room was noisy, police sirens every 5 minutes through the night combined with a broken air vent, the motor was making very loud screeching noises. We requested service and nothing was done about it. The area (Yale) is a true eye opening experience that was unexpected. We were approached by beggars for money to buy alcohol within 15 seconds of walking out of the hotel, the public transit (across the street) is dirty and trash on the street everywhere. Making a change in the community starts at home Yale administrators and students! How do you walk outside and don’t see that action even a very small one can brighten the day and start a better future in your own neighborhood! I was appalled by the neglect and obvious blind eye to the need in this area! I didn’t sleep but briefly after I bought earplugs at the CVS where even chocolate and toothpaste were under locked plastic cases. I feel spoiled in New Orleans and never thought I’d ever say this. The best part of our stay were the maid service, they are amazing, sweet, attentive and should be paid a fortune for the excellent etiquette of service and job they do every day! I would not return to this area or hotel since good sleep is my way to start a great new day."

"We drove to this hotel from Pennsylvania to attend a graduation ceremony for our granddaughter. After riding for 7 hours, we arrived at the hotel. The lady at the desk told me she had no reservation, it had been cancelled by the boss. She said perhaps my card was declined and I told her that was not possible because I had already received a message stating that my room was booked . She said I booked through Hotels.com, which I did and I had itinerary numbers and check in information. I asked if they had any rooms available and she said no and she told me to take a business card and call the boss Monday. Luckily we found another hotel not too far away and they had a room available. When we got to the second hotel I saw a gentleman that had been at the first hotel and overheard him telling a gentleman the same thing happened to him as he was told his room had been cancelled. I feel this was a situation that should not have happened. I will never book this hotel again . Through the booking process, I had checked and rechecked that all was complete and we received a note looking forward to our stay. She said I booked with hotels.com and perhaps the situation was their fault. I had received a message from hotels.com that all was ready for our stay. So to answer your question as to how was our stay - there was no stay. "

"Clean, comfortable, and quiet room with good beds. Expedia had no warning that the hotel was going to charge me $20 more for parking. The room had no microwave, probably because there are restaurants in the hotel. Even Motel 6 has microwaves in their rooms. It was a good night's sleep though."
