Wonderful!

What an absolutely gorgeous place with unbelievable views off the balcony! We really enjoyed our spring break there with lots of hiking outings and zip lining not too far away.

Once again everything about 20 Apache Heights was perfect. First night there was a small issue and it was taken care of immediately. Our entire family loves this property and are looking forward to staying a third, forth, fifth...time.

Fall Getaway

The view is spectacular! The house is as advertised. Beds are comfortable. Our grandkids loved the game room. Location is great for visiting Cacapon State Park and downtown Berkeley Springs.

Beautiful home just minutes from the lovely town of Berkeley Springs

Beautiful home with a wonderful view. The home had everything we needed. The bunk beds were the nicest bunk beds I've ever seen. Plenty of room for adults!

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apache Heights. The house is beautiful, and the setting even better. The kids loved the bunkroom and the game room, and we all loved the deck in the morning and at sunset. We had one house problem, which the hosts responded to within minutes and fixed within a few hours.

Beautiful spot

We had a lovely time getting out of the city and staying here for a few days with friends. The kiddos loved it too! It’s a beautiful house in a beautiful location, that’s well equipped and the owners were very easy to communicate with. The hot tub and video games were big hits, as were the bunk beds -and the view. We'd highly recommend it!

Spacious comfortable home with a gorgeous view

Perfect get away for relaxation with the family. House accommodated an array of ages comfortably. Large multifunction deck for the adults to sit and talk whole the children ran and played - in leu of backyard. Fire pit was nice.

Fun Fall Getaway

My wife and I invited some friends and family out to celebrate her birthday. We had an amazing time, and were very comfortable here. The stunning view surprisingly was not dampened by a bit of rain. The place was very clean and there was a lot to do in the house. Definitely a 5 star stay!

Dream location

This beautiful home made for a perfect holiday gathering for our family of six. There’s a great “flow” to this property which allows both intimate gatherings and enough private spaces to suit anyone’s needs.We enjoyed our meals around the generous dining table, and we all were mesmerized by the most fabulous view over the valley. Game room, ample deck seating, and hot tub offered great entertainment options to all in our group… ages 41 to 77.We give this home all thumbs up. Highly recommend.

Great Girl's Getaway

Home was perfect for a friend's getaway. Close enough to Berkeley Springs, yet away from it all. Lovely home with gorgeous views. Photos on site are very accurate. Kitchen is well equipped and owners were easy to reach if necessary. Would recommend this home to anyone and would certainly rent again. Loved it!!

This is a great place for extended family. While the “game players” were in the lower level game room, others enjoyed the solitude of the main floor. Katie was great with responses to our questions. Very considerate. Pretrip info was great! Highly recommended for multi-generational trips.

Beautiful vacation home

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful well equipped home. The view off of the back deck is amazing! The home is fully equipped with kitchen supplies as well as fresh towels and linens. The house was extremely clean and well kept. We had no problem at all with the WiFi and were able to stream on our computers. We will definitely be back!

Girls Cousins weekend

We came from 5 different states for our annual cousins weekend to relax and recharge. The house was perfect! There were 10 of us this year and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was a hit and the views were spectacular. The house is decorated beautifully, the kitchen is stocked with everything that you need. The owners were wonderful to work with and attentive to the details.

Awesome Property!

We are 10 women who graduated high school together in 1977 who get together once a year for a reunion. What a blast we had at this beautiful home in Berkeley Springs! We enjoyed every amenity this home had to offer - from the hot tub, pool table, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds to the gorgeous views from the deck. Our hosts were attentive and helpful. Sharing good times in this incredible home is just what we needed! Highly recommend!

Family Christmas retreat

Had a wonderful stay at Katie's home. Easy communication with Katie and her team. Great time hiking the local trails, making smores in the firepit and spending lots of time in the hot tub enjoying the view. They even left the tree up so we could enjoy a Christmas experience without having to bring our own! :)

Lovely cabin for a family vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with a breathtaking view. We loved all of the amenities and had so much fun in the game room playing board games and watching movies. We also enjoyed gatherings around the fire pit and evenings watching the sunset. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy some quiet time as well. Our grandson had a lot of room to play and loved spending time in the kids room with the bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking meals and sharing them around the lovely dining table. The owner was very responsive to questions and we were very appreciative of the little welcome gift! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Excellent family get away

This is a beautiful house with a beautiful view!! Everyone in our family group enjoyed their stay. The age range of our group was 2-75. The beds were comfortable which is a must for our group. The bunk room with the t.v. was a real hit with the children. The adults loved watching movies and football together in the game room. The adults also enjoyed a friendly game of pool and the arcade games. The children also enjoyed a try at the arcade games. The only downside of our trip was a very rainy Saturday, which of course was not the fault of our hosts. But that was why we didn't enjoy more hiking, but did get in some smores at the fire pit!

Stunning views and beautiful home!

We would absolutely recommend staying at Katie and Jimmy's place! Their communication was great and they have obviously been doing this awhile as they had everything so perfectly written out that we never had a need to contact them with any questions. We brought our 2 teenage kids to stay and we all had such a great time! This house is spacious with absolutely stunning views and has a little something for everyone. Our kids loved it so much they actually requested that we stay home one evening and just cook out on the grill and hang around the house. The hot tub is very well maintained and perfect for the 4 of us. We also loved playing the old arcade game in the basement. Thank you for everything!

Thanksgiving Stay

I rarely post reviews online but will make an exception in this instance because the house and the hosts are both deserving of five stars. We stayed in this home for one week in November 2023 for a family Thanksgiving holiday. The home was beautiful, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. The rooms and the views were attractive as the online photos. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and all of the appliances were in good working order which was an important feature for us in planning our Thanksgiving day meal. The hosts, Jimmie and Katie, stayed in constant communication making the check-in and checkout procedures timely and easily understood. During our stay I texted the hosts two times with questions or comments and on both occasions received a response within minutes. I highly recommend this home and the hosts and would not hesitate to book it again if the occasion arises in the future.

West Virginia Gem - What Views!

This property and home were stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed the deck overlooking the valley. Firepit area was a bonus - lots of firewood provided by owner and comfortable new chairs. Beds were comfortable - sheets could use updating, but were fine. The game room was fun - truly enjoyed the pool table. This location is close to hiking and biking. Enjoyed Hancock Rail Trail as well as a trip to Blackwater Falls which is close enough to take advantage of hiking in Canaan Valley. Many nice restaurants in Berkeley Springs - with our favs being The local Brewery, The Naked Olive, Coolfront Resort, Canary Grill, Puccini's Pizza is an hour away but WELL WORTH the trip - best pizza and mozzarella sticks around! Try out the Eidolon Nature Preserve just 20 minutes from the house - 4 miles of hiking trails and a cool history to the location. Overall, a 10 out of 10!

Perfect Place for a Family Get Together

Apache Heights was fantastic. We were a group of ten, three generations, all adults and everyone loved the house and the area. Katie was an incredible host, the communication was wonderful. Any and all questions were answered very quickly, and she provided us with a four page PDF before our stay that contained restaurant, recreation, and exact direction information. The house itself was gorgeous and very well stocked. We were staying over Super Bowl weekend and brought our own crockpot to keep the chili warm. No need to have done that, as there was one in the kitchen. Every appliance one could need was provided. The house was meticulous, and the gameroom was a great place to gather and enjoy the game, and we all loved the hot tub overlooking the beautiful valley. We can't say enough about our stay, and would encourage anyone looking for a great spot to definitely book this house, it becomes your home very quickly!
