"The photos are lovely, but the experience of being there is so much more. We loved it! It was so peaceful and lovely. We watched deer families every night and saw a fox as well. So wonderful to see them enjoy the woods with no fear. There was easy access to town and Cacapon. The area has plenty of opportunities. We met our hostess, Patricia,and found her to be a lovely and helpful lady. What an enjoyable stay."

"Nice, rustic cabins. Beds were very hard and only had sheets on them, no quilt/duvet etc. The furniture could use some updating, sofa etc. very uncomfortable. Overall a decent place and very clean."

"Maybe the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. When I got to my room my air conditioner wasn’t working. After trying a couple times, the desk clerk moved me to an upgraded room. No questions asked. The rooms are spotless - honestly cleaner than some luxury hotels I’ve stayed in. It could use better mattresses and linens, but given the chain and class of hotel they were appropriate. I would stay here again."
