I arrived utterly exhausted after a 12 hours journey and was immediately upgraded!
Facilities are excellent, the Spa was immaculate.
Food was delicious and generous.
The only negative was the need to invest in air conditioning.

Our server in the restaurant was forgetful though. We stayed one night in the Design hotel and the other night in the Kroener connected sister hotel. Both of our rooms were beautiful, well decorated, spacious and clean. I recommend these hotels. "

"Centrally located in Bastogne with free parking at the rear of the hotel. Staff at the hotel were excellent. The staff in the restaurant couldn't do enough for us - great service.
Room was large and comfy. Overall, great place to stay and eat."

"Stayed at Chateau dâUrspelt to kickoff a 2 week trip in Europe from America. From the second we turned into the hotel grounds (which lies upon renovated castle grounds), we were so impressed. We immediately had our jaws on the floor with the overall ambience and beauty of the resort, and enjoyed time in the library on the first afternoon. Major highlights that simply cannot be found elsewhere are the gorgeous spa equipped with a LARGE network of natural-looking caverns to swim through, with an amazing sauna, and the very cool underground cellar bar which was also larger than I thought. The second night a large senior tour group had been stopping through for dinner and a one night stay, and although the hotel was significantly busier than our first night, the restaurant staff treated us with care and individuality, and we were not bothered by any noise. In fact the Bar that night was a huge trip highlight! Big shoutout to Bruno and Moses for making us feel at home immediately"

"We were met by the owner at check in. He is also the chef for the restaurant. He took time to explain the hotel and restaurant food options.
The hotel is very nice. We were given a mini-suite with a balcony.

Just a minor, breakfast could be opened a bit earlier for us commuters, however great options.

"We booked a family room for the third week in July. Receptionist welcoming and spoke English. Room was of a good size, with bunk beds over the main double bed for our family. A couple of niggles though: The lighting system is confusing. There are limited instructions as to how to turn them off, though this is in German and French and not English. If you are reading this and having the same problem, you need to click the left hand switch twice to turn them off and have the room and darkness, otherwise every time you turn one light off, another one will turn on in the room. It took a call to the concierge to find this out (I suspect he was a little annoyed, as he told me twice that the instructions were on the wall - maybe expecting Facebook, French or German). Though the room was clean, the carpet needs washing, as there was an order of stinky feet to it. The room was also very hot, even with a ceiling fan, so you may want to bring a fan of your own to keep cool during the night."
