"Our stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel had a very old, unpleasant smell as soon as we arrived. The room itself was even worse—the carpet was sticky and felt dirty. My toddlers were just walking around in socks, and within minutes their socks were completely filthy, which was very concerning.
The room felt stuffy the entire time, even with the AC set to 71. It never seemed to cool properly and would get warm again quickly. When I called the front desk to ask about moving rooms, I was told there were no other rooms available. There was also a strong smell of mold in the room.
Several things in the room didn’t work. The phone was dirty and nonfunctional, so I had to use my personal cell phone to contact the front desk. The TV remote didn’t have an input button, making it impossible to change inputs. When we called for help, the front desk staff member said she would send maintenance and hung up abruptly. We didn’t need maintenance for that issue—we ended up going to Walmart to buy a universal remote ourselves, which worked immediately.
Customer service was poor overall. Staff were rude when we asked for additional towels, even though we had two adults and two toddlers staying in the room.
The amenities listed were also misleading. The hot tub was completely sealed off with concrete, and one of the side entrances smelled strongly of dog urine.
Overall, this was a terrible stay and not somewhere I would recommend."
