Great place with unique story!

Had business in Boerne and didn’t want to stay in a traditional hotel. Husband and I with 3 young kids stayed at the Windmill House and loved it. We explored the property and surrounding areas and it was so picturesque.

Great place to stay. It was very relaxing and beautiful. We explored the big property and enjoyed seeing the horses and chickens. The pool was great with a beautiful tree in the background.

**Fabulous Hill Country Home**

VERY rustic home on an amazing 60 acre ranch. We enjoyed the sunsets, walking the property, playing ping pong, swinging, making smores!!!! It was a gorgeous piece of property. The home is like 30 min from everything. Great location!!

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Windmill House for my nephew's wedding. The property was beautiful and was just a short drive to the wedding venue. The home is warm and inviting. The Texas Hill Country views were amazing and the host was very helpful! The rest of our family rented the Tree House and Pond House Bungalows that are on the property as well and they were also amazing and unique! We will be returning to Bergheim Ranch for another family stay soon. Thank you!

We loved the beauty of the property and it’s easy access to many surrounding locations.

We came in for a summer get away. We floated the Comal River, went to the Riverwalk, and shopped & dined all around. The location puts you 30 minutes from just about everywhere you’d like to go. The host was easy to reach and communicate with. Only downside was the A/C didn’t seem to be big enough to fully cool the house down. They have put in some window units and a split unit to remedy this. Some rooms don’t get cool enough in my opinion. Overall we would stay again. We recognize that Texas is HOT in the summer and A/Cs work hard during that time.

Girls Trip

The Windmill House had plenty of room, with places to gather and play games or visit! We did it all. The pool was great! We are a group of friends from high school that are now in our 60s. We get together once a year! We were close enough to explore towns, but were able to hang out and visit too.

Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The pictures for this home do it no justice. Once you arrive you’re taken aback by how big and gorgeous the property is! Our family enjoyed the pool almost everyday. The owners are incredibly helpful and super friendly. This place would be perfect for large family reunions or weddings but great for our family of four too! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful Family Time.

We had the most amazing time at your beautiful facilities. My husband and I, our son his wife and beautiful 10 yr old grand daughter. We swam, played games, explored and just enjoyed each other. Precious memories made. The home provided everything we needed, was spotless and the owners were constantly sanitizing everything. It was wonderful.. I am a retired insurance agent of over 33 years specializing in TX B&B's. I know a quality facility when I visit one and The Windmill House is just that.

Great country getaway!

We enjoyed the Windmill House so much! It was perfect for our needs, close enough to necessities, but far enough from the bustle to be able to enjoy the beauty of the Texas hill country. The home was spotless and the furnishings were comfortable and practical. The pool was much appreciated by the kids and the safety fencing was much appreciated by the parents! We would definitely recommend to family and friends.
